Trading the Cable swings via averages

Today is a little difficult, but H1 above EMA + bull support form so bull today i guess. Maybe price will attack next HH.

It was Bear HD on H1.
Took a short on 50%D on M15, SL = D, Target = D'.

By the way, the Gold price has just made a new historical peak.
Could there be a major upheaval coming soon?

My short trade gave better profits than expected, hitting target 50%D' on H1. The price could drop to the EMA26 level on the H4, but I'm out.

Been a great day today...

Smack on our trade time a HD was formed to give us a short.

Expecting the price to test the 4-hour EMA but for now I have made plenty, so I am done for the day.


Once again, the fabulous HD takes the cake.

Yesterday is really difficult, news make HD bear which i don't notice that and still stuck in bull bias. Lucky this time i follow 40PipsAlan advice, wait for bull support form so no loss. Look back, even no M15 DIV bear so to trade

For today, H1 DIV bull --> price push, currently stuck under bear support and but price above EMA which is great for bull. In addition, price above H4 and other HTF --> good chance for HH target today, or more reasonable target, at 2623 then.

Short on bearish HD on M15 & H1, but it seems to be a failure

The bull beat me out. It's not the same yesterday at all.

This ranging week has been a nightmare. Fighting losing trades to protect the account. Currently at BE so all is not lost. Now reviewing the charts and thinking about where I could have performed better.

You don't seem to be paying any attention at all to the EMA.

Please enlighten me, Sir!

Yesterday is still no trade. Look back, I only saw a chance to buy when H1 build support bull, but that's happen at US session, too late for me.
Today H1 above EMA --> trend still up, but DIV bear --> return EMA at least. But today i think market maybe go down a lot because on daily, price form a RSI DIV bear at weekly EMA
Just on safe side, if short, today target will be H4 EMA then

Lucky me, go for short on bearish HD again and take my money back.
Strong resistance at 50%D on Daily

It’s been a scary moment, but let it run until at least the EMA26 on the H1 because the Bear's found support.

Just reviewing the trades I should have taken for this week. Mondays trade seems to have been the Hour after NY open candle. Well after our trade time.
H1 Bull divergence and target the Pivot above around 40 pips away.
Drop to M5 and we have bull support there.

Tuesdays trade looks to be a tricky one. On the H1 we get bull divergence to make the Bear support candle. It could go either way from here.
Drop to M5. We are waiting for a bull support candle which doesn't happen after the H1 bear support candle. Instead it makes an M5 LL and another H1 Bull divergence.
The M5 bull support occurs right on the H1 EMA so tricky again. Target is close at 20Pips, daily open line already proved to be resistance once already.

I expect we could have taken the M5 HD off the daily open line to make up our pip target for the day.

Wednesday trade was a H1 HD right on LO and I totally missed this one.
Drop to M5 and we get several bear support candles to take down to the H4 EMA and some M5 Bull divergence at this point.

Thursday trade was a H1 EMA bounce Bull support candle.
M5 bull support candles after the H1 EMA bounce.
M5 Bear divergence after 30 pips at a resistance level but manages to break thru and continue up.

Asian40pips, can i ask assume your entry is at 1,2 and 3. Where will you put your stoploss ?? At the highest point of DIV bear ?? If in that case, trade 1 will lose, right?

these hindsight ideal trades I missed big time this week. I just look over the past week and analyse what went on in the hope that I can move it to real time trading. The stop loss in all cases is half the target distance where ever you deem that to be. If it’s 40 pips to target then the stop is 20. You had 3 opportunities to get in on this one or add another trade to it.
