Auslanco - GBP/JPY and GBP/USD (newstrade)
Beginner's luck i think. I'm starting to learn seriously when last week i follow auslanco's signal blindly and the i don't satisfy with it.
I feel like a fool, hehehe...
But, i really learn a lot in this thread and the point is don't take the signal blindly, we must know, why auslanco take the trade based on his indicator, we must learn also how to use auslanco's indicator. So, when we loss we don't just blame auslanco, blame ourself that don't have much experience and learn less. I knew from the post that auslanco has posted, that he must study over 3 years to master his indicator. So, 1 week is just not enough at all.

welldone buddy.. looks like you are on the right track. 1hr strength indicator hasnt crossed down yet. There can be sudden spikes up and no major shoot downs will happen untill it crosses down

For all of us noobs that folowed Asulanco since the start of last week, I think we have one goal in common, and that is to replicate his trading strategy as much as possible, I am convinced that will not be able to do that 100% acurate but still will give it our best shot. Some of the newer readers of the thread this and the one before, maybe they have their personal trading styles with which they make a decent amount of profit on a regular basis, and they are right when saying that we should not folow only the signals that he gives but understand on what he basese them on, so we can have our own signals that he might confirm and then we know we are on the right track.
And since a lot of people here are using MT and will not switch to VT (that's also my case), maybe we can work togheter to try to setup on our MT platform something that resembles as much as posibile to what he has on his VT.
Beeing away on weekend it took me a few hours to read all that has been posted since, I read it as fast as I could so I hope I haven't missed any key posts that maybe say what I am saying now in my post.
So to cut from the long intro I am sugesting to discuss all of the indicators that he uses and try to set them up as best as posible, we all come with our own sugestions and figure out the best seting, and I am sure that Asulanco from the background will give us some clues that he thinks they are necesary, but let's try to do it on our own so as not to profit from his kindness more that it's necesary.
First indicator:
Again the Momentum indicator..., Asulanco said that on the MT is exactly the same indicator as in VT only that it has a diffrent range, for example in my H4 tf it ranges from 96.90597 to 101.37337, with the option to have fixed values for minimum and maximum, and on my H1 it ranges from 98.45302 to 100.6426, so my best idea is to take for each time frame the values for maximum and minimun add them and divide by 2 like this
max+ min)/2 = *** that will result in some value that will be our zero line for momentum indicator on that tf for example my zero line for H4 is 99.13967, and so on for the rest of the tf. But for this to work we have to set our max and min values to fixed ones so as to not change over time.
I await from you, your opinions on my proposal and also on the momentum indicator you values for maximum and minimum to confirm mine, but be sure the you check them on the specific time frames cause every time frame has diffrent values in my case.

A whole bunch of posts ago, someone was kind enough to put together a .zip file that contained the indicators auslanco was using - but for the MT platform. I don't remember how far back, but I'm sure you can find it.
