Do you think it will again gain a massive surge like previous year?

This morning, it was 2% short of reaching $100,000. At noon, it was 4% short, with the price close to the bottom of the channel. The answer to the question might be elsewhere. Demand will drive the increase.

Broke out for liquidity grab and re-testing the break area now. From here either up or down we can trade whatever happens

Looks like BTC is on the move. Currently at $98k. I think it can go beyond $99k today! Keeping an eye on the market!

Bitcoin turned around at approximately 93000. Contrary to the narrative I am going to trade in a straight line, that means only in the direction of the trend. Yesterday I entered with three positions and I am going to keep them until it turns downwards, piramyding at corrections. At the moment the target is approximately 123,000 and rising.

**** EDIT : Nvmd the setup was very ugly i didnt had the confirmations i wanted and my analyse was not good to so didnt took the trade i canceled it. Ill wait for more liquidity to have a better entry in the next hours ****

It is declining today. What is the reason?

Bitcoin Halving

2 pure technical reasons:

1) Monthly timeframe: This end of week is also end of month. Price of any instrument will tend to break the previous timeframe's range more often than staying inside and creating an inside bar. An inside bar represents indecision and markets in general don't like that. In about 80-85% of all cases the previous range is broken, inside bars are created only in the 15-20% remaining cases. So naturally we broke the range of January.



2) Weekly timeframe: The week of 10.-16.02.2025 was such an inside bar on the W1 timeframe. Meaning price was uncertain where to go and stalled over the whole week. This stalling creates pressure to breakout either to the upside or to the downside. Once price breaks out of the range of an inside bar, the IB is typically resolved in one of two ways. Either price expands 100% of the range to the upside, or price expands 100% of the range to the downside. Think of it as pressure building up during creation of the IB, and pressure released to one side at resolving the IB. Same chart this time with W1 bars and IB extensions


This time we have a confluence between both levels (I don't say it's coincidence but it looks like). Previous month low and 100% extension of the weekly IB are almost the same. This created a much stronger magnetic level for price than what would have been if both levels where different. What did price do? It went to that level and broke it, naturally. What we see is the release of double pressure created by two technical levels at the same location.


How to trade such ranges or inside bars? They are clearly visible and announce themself very early. Price will always break and reach those levels, you just don't know to which side. Institutional algos are specialized on those levels and you can rely on them.
