Only taking trades that close near the bottom band for longs and top band for shorts, giving better RR when exiting at bands using this scalp method.

My biggest issue has always been that I don't get out before it's to late and hit my stoploss at full risk.
This strategy and properly many other like it are actually essential very easy to use. But the psychological gameplay is super important.

I have come to realise - after reading some of Islands reviews of his trades, that going break even is okay - and going breakeven in 10 trades is also okay - eventually you will hit the homerun that does 2-3-4% in a short move. I kinda knew this in the back of my mind, but have just failed to make it second nature.

Putting stoploss to breakeven as soon as possible is Gold - and then we just have to wait for the big moves - if we get a big move it's better to just exit the trade and secure your profit with a happy smile on your face.

Then rinse and repeat.

But count the profit. In this case yesterday I exit at 1:2 taking 25 pips. It went to 1:5 at 125 pips. So I missed 3R. If I get the next 2 trades at 1:2 in stead of break even, then I have gained 1R already.

So I am pretty sure, that there will be many BE's where you lose 2R waiting for the big run. Overall profit might be less that way.

Taking the 1:2 every time is the secure way to profit.

Money management. Don't be greedy. Just my opinion. Yours is just as good as mine.

Just got into GA short.
What you have to realize about this system and any other system is, nobody knows what is going to happen at any given time.
I know the market is heading up towards my SL but I do not care because the market will do whatever it wants to.
This system will make you a weekly income if you have discipline to trade it.

Not looking too shabby and still worth tracking me thinks.
I will not post any more charts as I feel I am digressing from Islands 15 minute charts and thread. But has given me food for thought nontheless.

Post away Turnip, I am refining this system and it is good to see others charts and opinions.
I will look at your charts and comment on them if you like.
I have just set TV up so I will be able to look at 3min timeframes

GA is one of those pairs that just likes to run and I find difficult to fade
