personally will look for some shorts to that area until CPI, CPI should be same same which will probably cause the knee jerk reaction everyone is expecting back to 2900+ new ATH seems unlikely, yesterdays rejection at the top seems pretty solid IMO

My biggest lesson last year was not to be married to your bias, having said that

After price created most recent ATH it gave a very strong rejection on the daily which is still valid until now, told this before and ill say it again dont sleep on 4H if you're trading gold you need it, that's where you make money, you will lose more money than you actually make on lower timeframes, not saying you cant be profitable on lower tf's but with gold you sit in dd more often than not. Higher tf's are your best bet, but each to their own.

Price needs more volume and liquidity if it wants to go for ATH again after that strong reaction hence my argument for SSL at 50's. Even if CPI had come out in favor for bullish momentum price would have most probably run out of steam at 2920-2930s

Higher timeframes we are still extremely bullish, but with the short term i see some bear play, price could still flip all out bull any moment though but this is just what i see atm

Please don;t be posting absolutes on here like its your birth right lol, trade PA and not your arrogance, i've seen people doing that and being humbled before by the markets only a matter of time until it happens again i guess

Technically, the simpler you look at the chart, the better results you will get.
For example, on the daily time frame, I see a strong bullish engulfing candle followed by a strong bearish candle with a long shadow.
This makes me enter a sell trade. I may lose, but it is controlled and will be compensated in the next trades.

the day US government does not increase the debt ceiling , I WILL SELL GOLD [ NEVER BEFORE ]
