Hello traders, I prefer to work from 15 minutes or high but aggressive traders can also work on 5 minutes.
The oversold pound is very interesting because the opposite currency, the Australian dollar has a fairly high value, almost overbought, an excellent opportunity, while the oversold New Zealand dollar would have been better worked by analyzing the volumes on the futures. However, the strongest opposite currency is the JPY and then the US dollar.

Hello trader friends today excellent opportunity on the CHF/JPY in 3 minute chart.
As you can see we have the CHF overbought and the JPY oversold. The trend is upward but these two extremes determine the end. We have a edge in having short positions in the market. Also on the 5 minute chart we have the overbought CHF but no oversold JPY.



Now at the time of writing on the 3 minute chart we have EUR oversold, we have to wait for JPY to go into overbought.
One must be patient and wait for both currencies to reach extreme values to have the odds on our side and make trading profitable with a positive long-term mathematical expectation.

Hello traders, I would like to continue to present the algorithms that will be available for TradingView in the future. We have seen two indicators: Currency Extremes, Stock Extremes, today i present to you: Altopium Pullback Trend Power.
Is an indicator that tries to identify a short-term acceleration and then determines the pullback where a reversal is statistically probable.
It is a very useful tool for traders who like to follow trends and want to enter at low-risk times. The stop loss can be calculated with the ATR or when the acceleration changes color. It is also good to use this tool together with other techniques or other indicators that indicate a medium/long-term trend.

Waiting for a currency extreme

Altopium Scalping Pro automatically identifies market trends and scalping opportunities :

Long : When a bar shows an up arrow, we have a long scalping opportunity if the next bar breaks the high.
Stop loss Long : If after a long breakout the price falls below 50% of the previous bar, exit with a stop.

Short : When a bar shows a down arrow, we have a short scalping opportunity if the next bar breaks the low
Stop loss Short : If after a short breakout the price rises above 50% of the previous bar, exit with a stop.

Profit : we can wait for the bar to close or calculate the profit with the 5 period ATR or if the price accelerates strongly it is possible to let profits run.

Important : If the high or low intraday is also a new daily high or low, the breakout is more important. A trader can choose to trade only breakouts intraday of new daily highs/lows.
The indicator can also be used as a trend indicator: Arrows Up = Trend is long ; Arrows Down the trend is short.
