Looking for US broker with Gold trading

I live in the USA.
.. why can't I trade so many things that it seems most people here are trading???
Mainly XAUUSD.... Can't trade gold.
Unless I can and I'm missing something. My broker currently is Oanda. Should I switch brokers? Or am I shit out of luck?

You can trade XAUUSD in the USA in all possible asset classes - but not in the form of a CFD! - Oanda and other US brokers do not offer CFD trading, since CFDs are not permitted as an asset class in the USA!

Im not talking about regulations in that statement. When I copy and modified that Quote from Neil Degrass', I was currently watching an uptrend take place for a few hours, then second I hit the buy button, the price plummted down, tapped my stop loss ON THE LINE EXACTLY. Then bounced WAY UP

So then what would be an option for me to trade that? Ive been trying to google, and chat GPT it but I keep getting the wrong answer, both keep saying Oanda and forex.com offer it but it seems like they absolutely dont.

I guess my next stop will be to try TD Ameritrade

Yeah I just tried the IG thing again. It keeps wanting to send me to tasty FX... And on the tastyfx it's only allowing me to search and go through forex Pairs..

You have to research on brokers that offer CFD for trading. Not sure they are available in the US because it is mostly product for offshore brokers. But you can trade futures which should offer similar exposure with roughly same costs. But finding the broker which offers MT4 can be problematic though

This is a bit complicated! Oanda USA cannot offer CFDs - however, many other Oanda divisions can, for example, Oanda UK!
