One Step Ahead of the Market

Some information:

1. There is a new account connected to the trade explorer, as of 2025.01.13.
   On this account the strategy will not be modified, on my other accounts the strategies were modified during the run, so they do not show real results
2. On 2025.01.13 I made a deposit of $6739.18 - this account is a cent account, so divide this amount by 100.
3. On Monday 2025.01.13 only a few transactions were made, so only from 2025.01.14 there are full days of operation of the strategy

Results for the first week when the system is running:
$526 profit in value, which is 7.8% of the initial deposit.

this week so far:
$327 profit in value, that is 4.5% since the beginning of the week.

Probably the most difficult thing for me was to limit greed in the long term, that is, when I started with a new system I kept greed under control, while over time the want to increase profits faster won out.

How did I deal with this?

1. the EA without any manual intervention
2. enjoy small profitable “bites” (that is, about 1-2 USD / basket) - this is great to limit greed in the long term
3. the EA closes only profitable baskets (by basket I mean one or several positions entered in the same direction - BUY or SELL).

I understand that scalping may not suit many traders, while it is completely in line with my psychological profile

time for a few days off!

Results at the end of the second week:
$620 profit (this week only), making 8.5% since Monday

not so bad...

today my VPS provider had hardware problems, about three hours during the London session, the account was out of control, EA did not work, but it was not a problem for the safety of the funds in the account, after fixing the VPS, EA made the appropriate corrective transactions and now everything is back to normal. Only the profit is less than usual: $86 today, so far.

I added another trade explorer, called it winners only. I think I can already make public this project that I have been working on recently. This is an EA, which is also strongly based on the idea of One Step Ahead, but in this case the percentage of winning trades is 100%. Impossible?

crazy lot sizing

yes, this is normal for this system, the most important thing is that it is in profit all the time, the risk is small and all losses are caused by slippage only (have to fine tune this further).
