Why should I trade on a cent account?

This is an old thread, I have a cent account and if I run an ea on it, it trades horrible vs ECN account. Sure the spreads are higher and I fix the settings to ajust for it but it still just does not run the same.

10k cents on a year long back test makes 500 dollars
10k demo account back test makes 15k so different.

How interesting! I had no idea that an EA can have different results in relation to whether the account is virtual or not.

I thought they would be closer. Cents have bigger spreads and less volume sure but definitely don't perform same.

Just saw this, how do you decide if its time to transfer funds to your standard account? Does it depend on consistency or certain profit goals?

I believe that if you are consistently in profit for a year then you can move to a standard account.
