The countdown to the new year begins tomorrow on New Year's Eve . The calendar is nearly empty, with just a few minor releases scheduled , so it's wise to close any remaining positions and prepare for a long celebration until Thursday . I'll be online for a few hours tomorrow to take notes and say goodbye until next year . Wishing everyone a great rest of the day with lots of green pips ! Thank you all!

EUR/USD has recovered from yesterday's sudden drop, which followed profit-taking after the pair reached a high of 1.0458. Currently, it is trading in a consolidation phase but remains bearish below the weekly pivot, awaiting a clearer direction. A break above resistance at 1.0516 could pave the way for a retest of yesterday's high, while a continuation of the newly established downtrend would require a decisive break below the support level at 1.0371.

It's one of those days when the pair doesn't choose a particular direction and starts ranging, but I could be wrong.

The pair is influenced by market positioning at the end of the year, will see more next year after all traders return on their desks. Now its time for some scalping but I may be wrong too!

Hi all!
Long time, no see...
I've been trading demo, and now live again for the last 3 weeks, starting with $153.15 USD with a system of stop loss of max 5% of account balance, going all in every trade at 50:1 leverage. Just 1 account, 1 trade at a time, in and out and done. I'm not holding trades for long.
Minimum TP is 5% of account balance, max SL at 5%.
Depending on the situation, TP can be 50% or more, but stop loss cannot be more than 5%.
I'm currently just surviving near B/E since I started trading live.
Originally, I lost over 30%, but I have recovered almost all of it, and hopefully I can finally start making green pips and compound it.
But I still have a hard time holding a profitable trade if it looks like it's going to retrace back towards my position. So I got out of my EUR/USD short way too early today and missed the main move. Oh well, tomorrow (or Thursday, Jan 2) is another day. Try, try again.
Now, I have an issue with the Trade Explorer. I was wondering if others have this problem also?
When I opened it, it said, "Trade Explorer functionality is limited because there are no closed trades in this brokerage account."
So, it won't post anything of my recent trades even though I have opened and closed multiple trades every day for the last 3 weeks.
Can anybody help me with this?

EUR/USD rebounded from Friday's 1.0344 low to reach 1.0371 but is now consolidating within a bearish trend, reinforced by Friday's break below the 1.0400 level.

Good move from bears after they hit resistance but not enough. Seems that bulls will charge above now. Lets see!
