First, I'd like to thank csdaa, Richard, blamshakk, and all community members for the valuable discussions regarding the Blessing EA. Your insights have been instrumental in advancing our collective understanding. In response, I would like to contribute comprehensive backtest data across multiple brokers.

Test Parameters:

  1. Testing Period: January 1, 2024 - November 26, 2024
  2. Initial Capital: $1,000 USD
  3. Leverage Ratio: 1:100
  4. Execution Speed: 50ms delay
  5. Modelling: Every tick
  6. Platform Configuration: MT5 Blessing with blamshakk 5-minute set file
  7. Brokers: ICMarkets, Exness, Pepperstone, and XM
  8. Coverage: 28 currency pairs

This analysis serves as a preliminary screening to identify high-performing currency pairs for subsequent forward testing and demo account validation. The results will be particularly valuable for traders planning to implement this EA in either demo or live environments.

I extend my sincere appreciation to the community for fostering such a collaborative environment. May we continue to achieve success with Blessing.

Hi,

I've been trying to add Zone Recovery to Blessing EA but made a mess of it. What i was trying to do was instead of Hedging, the EA would activate zone recovery and stop the grid once drawdown percentage was reached.

Can someone possible add zone recovery to Blessing EA please.

I used blamshakk's 5M setfile. Although it was meant to be used for 5M timeframe, I thought that I would give the 1M timeframe a try, as it can trigger more trades.

Blessing3 will stop trading after closing the last basket ... if you have the default setting ....

Expert does not run at all and does not give any error messages

Blessing3 resumed trading in week 02, Jan 06 and will run till end of 2025 Dec 18.

Week 03, Jan 13

The following pairs and FMC setting.

EURUSD, AUDUSD, GBPUSD all FMC=1 sell
EURCAD FMC=1 sell
GBPAUD FMC=1 sell
GBPJPY FMC=1 sell

Hey guys,

I'm running into an issue while backtesting USDJPY on a ICMarket demo account. For some reasons, the Strategy tester won't execute a test, despite that I've tried to reset MT5, delete logs, etc. All the other pairs I tested worked fine, except for USDJPY.

I've attached some images for context. Would really appreciate it if someone can help me fix this.

Starting this week I started using B3 on EURUSD.

If the black candle closes below the white candle, does the FMC change? According to image 1 attached by me.

Also in picture 2 we have a black candlestick that has changed its trend from buying to selling. The black candle remains the main candle until the white candle closes over ?

In the third picture there are many candles inside the white candle. FMC=0 remains in all those weeks, until a black candle closes underneath or does the wick that closes underneath matter?

To answer your question no.1

Answer: NO.

If that is a Weekly chart, and a new WCC candle formed, the Market Type remains the same i.e. Sideways Ranging.
You need to look at the Monthly chart and see the market historical price swing levels

run that in realtime live market and you will learn a lot.
