I ask ask humbly, what is a trap in the market? A bear or bull trap. Like does it evem exist in the eyes of the market or part of a jargon of a particular trading system, like liquidity?
I think in a bull trap as a breakout of a level that it is turn down immediately after, so a lot of breakout traders enter the market, but then the market goes against them, making them exit with a lose. If it is an intentional trap or just some orders that were on that level, who knows. And yes, this should generate liquidity, as it activates a lot of orders on the market.

For me, gold has just liquidated its market low for the Asian session, so we should expect a rise that marks its liquidation of the market high marked by a liquidity candle, then we can be satisfied with a few pips to the downside.
