this indicator is suitable for sideway trend you should not use it in bearish trend or bullish trend, it just gave too much false signal

SurprimeL, that strategy looks useful, how can I use it? I just see an image here. Is it something I could use with TradingView?

I am working on what may be a strategy right now (just doing some backtesting and then may post results...).

Good Indicator for 5min trades but now IQOptions have decreased the payouts for all 5mins trades !!! I think this thread has influenced their decision !!! lol

I think you may be the only one getting this high win rate on here. But you are I think putting your own twist on system by adding in S/R levels (which can be subjective) and BBs (what setting). It would be nice if you could provide details of HOW you are doing it. Because others are using this system and not getting anywhere near that win rate.

The idea behind this strategy is pretty good actually. ADX measures trend's power and Moving Average usually shows good moments of tend changing and gaining a new direction. So we have a trend power on the first plate and trend direction on the second, and we don't have toons of indicators like in some systems proposed "here and there". I like the idea. But anyway, any strategy must be adjusted to the human's character, if you're a sanguine - most likely M5 timeframe and sharp/fast/multiple trades is yours, and you'll be comfortable with it, but if you're more, like, melancholic - then possibly you need to switch to M30-H1 and take trades in a slower pase.

That’s the right approach. First, wait for a reversal candle, and then enter on the next candle in the direction of the new trend — exactly right.
It’s also very important to check the support and resistance levels to make sure a higher-level zone has been reached; in that case, the signal will be even more reliable.

About the Indicator

  1. Provides trend-direction signals (Buy/Sell)
  2. Non-repaint – signals stay fixed once the candle closes
  3. Works on any MT4 chart or timeframe

How to Use

  1. Attach the indicator to your MT4 chart.

This topic has been available for many years, and I have been checking each post and the ideas that emerged and were discussed here.
Among them, the goodwill of a user who shared many indicators for MetaTrader4 at the beginning of this thread, which I believe was interesting and caught the attention of many users.

By downloading the package of indicators provided and attached here at the start, I noticed that some indicators are no longer relevant today, even though they were created with good ideas.

I decided to rewrite some of them with good programming practices to reuse and see if they are still useful in today’s reality.
I did this with a few until I found one very interesting, which I rewrote.

I am testing it on the 15-minute timeframe for the forex market. Since it was originally created for binary options, I also discovered how it can be interesting when a signal appears and, at the opening of the next candle, there is a gap between closing and opening in the opposite direction.

I will demonstrate this better in the images below:

This brings us truly very interesting results when we calculate the outcomes, something that can be clearly observed in the image below:

The tests have proven to be very interesting, and I hope to return with even more reliable results over time after carrying out the necessary tests.
