Prices do not have a fixed direction they always move in influenced by a myriad of factors including economic indicators, geopolitical events, market sentiment, supply and demand and more.

That is a good answer, but it applies to the price going up or down. However, the price always goes to the right and never to the left.

Its going too slow this week due to the Fed rate cut today. Remember dont trade on FOMC!

EURUSD is experiencing a decline today ahead of the anticipated 0.25% hawkish rate cut by the Fed. If the cut happens as expected, significant support levels at 1.0448/44 might be tested next. Should the bulls fail to capitalize at these levels, we could see further drops to 1.0424 and potentially 1.0400. Conversely, if Fed Chair Powell signals additional rate cuts or any other dollar-weakening measures, EURUSD might recover towards 1.0500. With further bullish momentum, we could see the pair reaching up to 1.0534.

And so the price has dipped. But you never know what will happen in such situations. I have a position on AUDCAD and I'm happy that one dipped too.
