I like Teb's suggestion of using psar on the 15M TF for entering, it does take some patience as I see an entry on the 1H but not a confirming psar on the 15M. Still testing it. p

Hey danc,
I saw you had posted on Cornflower back in 2010 and now again in 2015. Have you been using it successfully for the last 5 years ? Using the original EMAs on the M1 trades ?

Yes i do ..in conjunction with my brand of support and resistance lines and also use her RSI.. 3 with CCIs.. took 25 points out of the ASX 200 this OZ morn using it

It seems like most folks have left this thread after making money from it

I discovered by chance that my system is similar to this

i use the 10/25/72/200 as my EMAs

Larry Burns from TOP DOG trading also has a technique similar to this

I just read the thread from cover to cover. It is very satisfying to see that the strategy has remained the same. I'll be going live with a smaller account soon.

how was the journey?

this is a working strategy but you must NOT trade counter-trend. (or alway trade with SL)
if you stay on the wrong side of 4H you get burned hard in this strategy...

If you did watch some ICT concepts; most of them use similar EMA to make entries (confirmation)...

this system gives good opportunities at all times
just be aware of the HTF - higher time frame 4H 1D
do not push BIAS to ONE side if the price doesn't go further....
for example - london hour + NY hour = quit at asian...

Pretty good I must say. In just a few days I passed three funded challenges. But that was more luck than brains. Later I made some changes to the strategy and added some more confirmations, but the core concept of the original strategy is still there.

By the way, IMHO, 8/12/24/72 EMA's are unnecessarily mystified by the OP. Things work much better with more popular and commonly used numbers like 20, 50, 100, 200. At least that's how it is for me.
