Do not change the file names!!!
So, first I modified the indicator a bit in order to make my EA coding easier.
The indicator can be used on it's own, and it works exactly like the one provided by you.
Also, I did the indi this way so that people wouldn't try to change anything and then wonder why the EA isn't working!
So, the attached, herewithin, indicator is the data source for the attached, herewithin, EA.
The EA contains the following inputs:
As you can see, I provided the option to select the trade direction: Buy Only, Sell Only, Buy & Sell.
The Magic Number allows you to use the EA independently on several charts, if you apply a unique Magic Number for each chart.
Also, you can set the Half-Trend Amplitude in the EA without needing to change the default settings in the indicator.
You can use TP and/or SL, or not, that's up to you.
The EA is meant to work like this (note: I did not check it in real time!):
In OnInit(), the EA checks ZeroPrevent() and IfTradeAllowed(), and will Alert if anything is wrong.
If trading is forbidden for the account, there will be a comment in the left upper corner.
Then the EA will check the Fixed Lot, normalize it to the LOTSTEP for the given instrument, and Alert if Fixed Lot < MINLOT.
This situation will require you to adjust the parameter Fixed Lot.
The EA will also Alert if Fixed Lot > MAXLOT and will use MAXLOT - this case is only a warning - it doesn't require you to adjust the parameter Fixed Lot.
And finally, the EA will check if the name of the EA wasn't changed. If it was changed, the EA will be removed from the chart.
In OnTick(), the EA once again checks ZeroPrevent(), next gets the Buy/Sell signals from the indicator by iCustom(), so that's why the indicator name also can't be changed, because in the case that it is changed, but the indicator itself isn't used on the chart, then the PreventNameChange() in the indicator can't work, and the EA can't read the data form the indicator whose name it can't find... Notice that we don't need to have the indicator on the chart in order for the EA to still get the data from it!
Now the Buy logic:
If the signal on Bar[1] is Buy (equivalent to the Arrow in the indicator), and Trade Direction is Buy Only or Buy & Sell, the EA will execute Close Sell Positions by Magic Number.
Next, if OpenTradesForPair(OP_BUY)==0 (note: this checks the Symbol and Magic Number, so it doesn't count the positions which don't match at least the Magic Number!!!) and I added a small condition that Ask must be <= Close[1], the EA calculates the SL and/or TP, if not =0, and does OrderSend() for a Buy position.
And finally it checks the errors, prints the logs, and if successful, plays the OK sound.
Now the Sell logic is the same, only looking for a Sell signal, and checking and calculating for Sell.
Now, the system needs to be tested!
