Finally back from my one week break and I managed to miss yesterday's action and Gold's generosity.

I decided my daily target should be 900 pips as this meant I'd be stretching my psychological muscles a bit and get to financial freedom faster.
The day's objective was achieved in my personal accounts by means of taking additional lots but I lacked the confidence to do the same for my challenge account.

I have not been consistently trading and it's making the gauging of my progress a little like "Cherry picked"

Last week Friday I took some trades, net positive on on my personal accounts but not same as the challenge account. (Thank God it's a no time limit challenge)
That outcome made me decide to adhere strictly to trading only the signals from my Renko charts.

I also decided that I had to let go of the limiting (though beneficial in the past) idea that after a net positive outcome for the fay I should call it a day. This ought to help me meet my 90 pip a day target as more chances open up during the New York session

Let's see how I comply with that decision going forward.

Re-entry from the TMA Bands and close above/below MA

3 ARBITRAGE
Difference between the feeds of 2 brokers in a trend reversal

So I took an exhaustion trade today and exited at the closest Resistance though price reached my 90 pips daily target but wisdom dictates that I take what the market offered and wait for the next opportunity

Now I tried my best, I had cold feet when the first Hidden Divergence showed up in the NYO then I started berating myself for missing the ride down.

I didn't hesitate to pull the trigger on the second one but unwillingness to lose kept me from the Regular divergence and the subsequent continuation divergence.

I missed some good opportunities today then during the NY session I froze unwilling to lose after all the other opportunities were positive.

I did take one during the NY session but left out my challenge account.
TP was the previous Resistance and I netted half my daily target.

I find that I terminate trades running to TP out of fear of being disappointed. This has to stop too

A fresh start

I got in a little early, the double Top reversal brick had not closed but I sought to save on spread and avoid slippage but alas the market had other ideas and dragged me through draw-down of almost 40 pips.

There was a battle in me to cut my losses and wait for the next set-up but I told myself to wait it out even though I was in a wrong trade, a trade that was not yet due.
I must just always wait for the brick to close before pulling the trigger

I missed the London Session action so I decided not to trade any counter-trend set-ups so I shunned very obvious double top in NY session, I should just call it what it is "Unwillingness to lose".

I had 2 entries which didn't go my way and I took the pain like a man Then I had to take the obvious sell-off and this time held to TP and recovered my previous loses.
An issue I've observed in me is not engaging the market after a big win or recovering a loss so I didn't take the subsequent buy signal and then when it was obvious it was dropping again, I abstained, yeah "unwillingness to lose"

In the end a minute loss from slippage and the inevitable trading commission.

I did get to tweak the system a lil' bit.

I'm trying to find a very high win rate strategy to trade Gold with for now I see the 200 pips brick size as the optimal size because I risk 2 bricks to gain 1, 2, 3 or 4 depending on the next support and resistance/

I changed my system mid way into trading today and added the OSMA indicator, with this I intend to only trade the HIDDEN DIVERGENCE'

My trend definition is 2 fold, the longer term trend represented by the 200EMA and the immediate trend represented by the 7/20 cross arrow.
so any hidden divergence in the continuation of the 200EMA and in the direction of the arrow is game on.

I could have gotten more out of today's moves but slowly and surely I will eliminate my self sabotaging impulsive behaviors and boldly take every available signal.

There's also the set-up of break out and break down but for now let me diligently engage the hidden divergence and watch the nuances of the breakouts and break downs

Hi thanks for pointing me in the right direction, still I have been trading using renko on ctrader mobile app and the indicators there have very limited ways to tweak to my specifications ultimately causing me to lose all the time. I am new to renko chart trading and I don't have a laptop to use making it difficult to find a winning setup, there is no osma on ctrader mobile app and from what I see osma is much better than regular macd. I really need help to make it using renko , I would really like to communicate more with you even if it is by email or telegram trading has really made me feel depressed but when I see guys here sharing how they make $ with the market it gets me excited.

The year is nearing half way point and I'm barely break even.


It's not a matter of strategy but of psychology, overcoming compulsion and the unwillingness to lose.

The starting point though is starting with a trade-able edge .

This might just be mine.
Trade the divergences especially those in line with the TRIX

Trading on 10 bricks on Gold had always been disastrous for me but looking at it with fresh eyes I'm convinced it should be the most profitable brick size to deploy on Gold.

I missed the FO and the LO and was available after the end of the brief rally.

The second opportunity would have been a loss but I was distracted and didn't take it, for the third one I listened to the voice inside my head telling me the trend had changed and I better not be trying to sell.

Thankfully I took the 4th opportunity and decided to wait for the NYO action

I expected my last trade to be a loss since I had passed over several opportunities. I was slipped so I didn't wait for the 1/1 result.

The next opportunity was avoided because of FEAR and so much's been left on the table.
