Incidentally, today 24 November 1859: Charles Darwin published “On the Origin of Species”.

The fittest survived because for example, they climbed tall trees to get away from predators. Or to find out if there is a river in distance or if there are herds of animals in distance that could be hunted.

Darwinex, if they were there, they would penalize such a behavior. If they saw a Neanderthal climb a tree more than 4 feet, they would penalize him because climbing trees is dangerous and the higher climbed, the higher chance of death. Not only that, they deem the Neanderthal is a careless creature that will climb high trees willy nilly all the time and punish him more in coming days based on that one climb. That's because their black box is not interested in knowing why he climbed it high. The black box is not interested that it was done for survival because it is blind past the no more than 4 feet climb rule.

There is just a lot of bs in Darwinex that one needs to tolerate in hopes of getting at least the sub fees back.

I thought you were into Dzero, planning to risk 5% and self investing a while ago?

What happened? DD hit?

Totally agree, great model so far especially for swing traders like me. I don’t need to worry about daily dd , max loss etc.

Trades duration affect leverage, risk factor, but I don’t care, I can’t find any other firms that allow the freedom that I’m having now.

Yes a dd of $350 hit in my 100K account (which at time was 101100 or so) and Darwinex erased 2.5% off my Darwin.
.35% dd in my account vs punishment of 2.5% in my DZ account.
Dumb twats.
I don't like my trading convoluted by people that don't trade but make dumb trading rules.

Yup. Stress free endeavor.

I trade intraday occasionally holding overnight. For November I've traded only USD/JPY. Always one 2.5 lot position so I know exactly what I'm getting.

Will be getting my first payment at the end of the month (roughly 350 Euros, the new toilet paper currency) and will get my 4th allocation in a row.

More importantly adding another green month to my track record.

Now you mention it, we should just use toilet paper currency for subscription. Propably just take some out for ID check etc.

It's near end of the month and I see everyone who is in green has pretty much stopped trading to keep it green.

My mt4 account has recovered nicely and is at ATH in equity but Darwinex is lagging way behind cause they are doing their own sht with their black box algo with it. Yuk. They need to add some Viagra to their lame black box.

LOL! - Not Me!! I only froze my FIRST allocation to secure it. Nov is month #1 and its YOLO for at least the first and seconds months of the first allocation. I'm trying to activate my 100K so its NO BRAKES for me. LOTS of News this week (which my algo LOVES) so with a little luck I *might* check that box.

Have to agree. It's about the investors not the traders. If a trader can trade that trader will have a non-gambling track record.

they might be waiting on new york like me...... those gap ups and flat lines add risk to a week that is already risker than average......

any distraction to keep itchy fingers at bay this week might be quite valuable...... such as a 50$ 300k apex eval.......

Still trading. Padding profits, increasing my rating. Simple concept.

I just have to watch out for that evil black box. It might pop out from underneath my bed when I'm sleeping and ruin my trades.

This is my account. I had a bunch of CAD and got hit. I'm down less than 1% of previously profit aka cushion and still in green. I'm sure I will recover.

If they had invested on Darwinex's hack job of interpretation of my trading, they would have lost 6%

No wonder real investors are rare on Darwinex.
There is no way I'd call this garbage at Darwinex to be my track record. It's Darwinex's own track record as they pick and choose and truncate my trades with their stupid risk engine.

Was that the first 'outlier' loss for your account? Looks like you hit the 6% max. I took a 1% loss yesterday and a near similar loss in my Darwin BUT it was in line with 'normal' losses for my account. Also was this the first BIG DD for the account? Looks like you caught the risk-engine off-guard and hits its limits. What was your risk-ration before this trade? (if you remember). Also I took a look at CAD... Whew!!

I don't believe I have had a loss in the account yet. Maybe at the very beginning it went down to 99,9800 or so and it was cause by intraday activity and not a realized loss.
I've been watching my trades under the 'Darwin Live Trades' some of them say 00 for trade and therefore 00 also after the risk engine has applied it's x3 or x4 multiplication which of course 00 too. So basically, it's just omitting many of my trades from the get go. hayseed mentioned that it does that and those trades it omits might be bigger size and very pivotal to reaching a BE or even profit but they don't get a chance to even exist under Darwinex.

I don't know how it's going to work out but losing 6% means I have to gain 6% to reach BE on Darwinex. How many weeks/ months shall that take? How much sub will I be paying them for their risk engine shenanigans?

You know props tell you don't do this or that and make new rules all the time and if they have hidden rules, traders complain and make it known. With Darwinex, a whole bunch of rules are within their algo and because it's proprietary nature, we can't know what they are. They manifest themselves in terms of damage to your account. Ie: don't do this or that and see if your trading improves. You learn by pain and still not completely sure.

I donno. It's fk'd.

Maybe not as many as you think. Is it possible for you to trade smaller to get a boost from the risk-engine? My risk-ratio is 2.60 so my trades get boosted. I trade my Darwin at half size so it can 2X my size. Small on source, larger on DZero.

So I made 63K in 4 months on my MT5....good for 10.91% because my risk engine was 1.34.
This month, I have made 57K (one month) and I'm down 0.68%, risk engine down to 0.59.
Risk engine was multiplying during DD and because I let it get a bit out of control, the recovery was slashed instead of multiplied.
Need about 0.8% to get to 0.4% to keep the consecutive allocation streak alive.

I have 10 days or so left of my 2nd month.
If this continues, which no doubt it will, I'll be firing their ass for total incompetency.
I'll let the rest of the meek quite people to pay the big hefty 15% for the accounts that aren't getting pissed on.
