Peter will not be able to explain the meaning of an inverted market. Peter believes that we are trading an inverted market when we enter a FOREX trade with our broker, and he also believes that it is possible for a trader to manage all the risk associated with entering a trade. That is, at least, what he stated, and I am waiting for him to explain his thinking (because none of that is true and Peter does not understand much about the FOREX).

An inverted market is a futures market where a spot price, or the price of a near-term futures contract, is higher than a farther out futures contract. You may have heard of the term backwardation, which is the same thing as an inverted market. When we enter a FOREX trade, we are not trading futures. We are trading current market price, and the projected futures price of, say, the GBPUSD contract in one month, are not part of our decision making. In addition, the futures market for GBPUSD contracts is not inverted, either. Regarding risk, is it possible to hedge all the risk of holding a futures contract? Not really, but you can get close. At some point, the cost of hedging gets so expensive that holding the futures contract becomes irrelevant.

It's not that at all, Peter. The fact is you got caught (again) talking BS. You do not know anything about inverted markets, or about risk mitigation. You are a fraud and a liar (everyone on FF knows this about you). Maybe it's time for you to start a new thread on Objective Thinking?

We haven't been talking about retail trading, although we could switch to that topic if you'd like to learn something. The bs you are referring to is your bs. You can't explain inverted markets, how you believe the forex is like an inverted market and describe your thoughts and experiences in risk management.
