I like how pips whether positive or negative have no bearing on Darwins.
Nobody cares or knows how many pips you are making....rightly so.

How can GNNL with this record has a rating above 75 and been given an allocation?
And I August he was with a -10%, he was #62?

Looks like he's on a weak win streak with some 'jackpot' months. Just shows that you dont needs spectacular returns to profit. Darwin DD 6-month memory has forgotten last year the early months this year and he can get allocations again even though the account is NET NEGATIVE! (95K right now)

Well, their scoring formula is good and bad.
He had a huge recovery from -10% to around BE and I guess that is a 10% gain which needed to be rewarded by the ranking algo.
However, the traders that did not incur such a loss needing a subsequent recovery, will not get rewarded.
Not sure if that is a fair system.

Regardless of that, looking at this chart, as an investor, I'd certainly not consider investing on this track record.

I don't get it...
Isn't it better if someone with a track record like that just stopped paying the monthly sub for that account, therefore killing the account and just start a new sub fresh without having to drag all that underwater record with them?

He didnt qualify for Gold until they were on a win streak and it looks like he's only carrying Darwin allocations. Over the long haul if he keeps rising he'll become 'investable' but they must be OK with just allocations for now. I would have restarted at the begin of 2024.

ATH quote 101.25 gets a 95K allocations.
Very ugly look for Darwinex's algo but it is what it is.
On the other hand, he is paying a lot of monthly subs and who knows if he will ever recover all that.
Meanwhile Darwinex is happy making money from him.

Dude said you could only buy one.

I'm wondering if he meant 1 per email (which you could have multiple emails) or one per person?

I believe you are permitted 5 Darwins total (with 5 different email addresses). I'm assuming you could add the 100K to each?
Perhaps that's what he was stating with the 5?

Not sure yet.
I guess I could ask their chat to make sure but I will when I'm ready to buy a 100K but if you're right, it'd be pretty nice.

Keep in mind, the only advantadge to more than 1 is for different strats. You cannot copy trade as they will all be above correlation threshold and only 1 would get allocation.

One per email and Darwinex allows you to control 5 individual accounts.

carry your track record..... we should fix the underlying problem......

carl jung had a saying about, your feet must first stand in hell...... marcus aurelius said, do not feel harmed.......

i would think, most successful traders have had their feet burned and yet said it was no harm.......

I agree. I decided to 'dig-out' rather than restart (my dip was only 2.84%). Even though the 'rising' point is when I completed my algo so its not a true 'recovery' but it does show that the algo can recover from the inevitable 'pinching' drawdown. Also by not resetting I'll 8-month qualify for Gold In Jan. (even though I dont expect to hit 20% until Feb/March). I consider it a badge of honor. The Drawdown-Digout Badge.

BUT having a bad year and restarting fresh the next wouldnt be hiding. Its dumping the past. After the ball is rolling I wont reset but I have no problem deleting false-starts at the year start mark since I'm usually trying a new approach if last-years strategy didnt work. New Year, New Approach (or at least a tweak).

I know what you mean but I'll do you one better.
I won't let my record go under to that point where I'd have to make a decision to hide or to go on.
I used to be really aggressive and in a hurry.
Nowadays, maybe age is getting to me...slowly, surely while chewing on chill pill is my trading world.
If I don't make the 75 for Dec, meh maybe in January I'll make it.
No point rushing it and making the wrong trades.

Qualified for my 2nd 30K today and all trades are closed. Its like my system is tempting me to lock it in BUT not a chance since this is only month 1 of 3 on first 30K. I'm up 2.37% but really should be more than 5% (my trade-copier screwed up a Darwinex +3.6% trade) so we're YOLO for at least the rest of the year. More sore that I could have activated my 100K. Hopefully by the end of the month I'll still put a nice dent in it even if not activated fully (at 47% now).

Getting 75 rating, 30k allocation is relatively easy.
The hard part is gold before you attract investors. DarwinIA allocation is only for top 77 darwins for the month. So it is likely that you will have very little allocation for at least few months.
