Monthly Open line USD pairs is being difficult, still early days, but there might be a direction consensus soon.

So I applied the following rules:
- Place a trade when the 9 pip line has a breakout.
- If an opportunity occurs before 10:30 (MT4 Time) I should wait for the second breakout.
- If I don't get an opportunity by 10:30 (MT4 Time), I take the next opportunity, (first breakout).
- After the breakout should I mark the Fibo modification (Default MT4).
- If it is a buy, the SL must be 9 pips below the horizontal line, and the entry 9 pips above the horizontal line.
- If it is a sell, the SL should be 9 pips above the horizontal line, and the entry 9 pips...
I created an indicator as a guide to the eye for the above rules:

When trading the monthly open, what level is your entry trigger?
plus you can see that monthly chart is not moving for about11 months or more,not trending,very tight monthly range,that mean that you have to take your profits very fast before the market take it back

Leticiy,

1dominican trades off a Sell Line with a Sell Limit Order and uses either the 30M or 1 Hour TF which would give him a small profit as referenced within his post message... I would do the same thing if I was trading...

What pair and time frame are you chart showing?

what level is your entry trigger?
If you are a trader,you must know that there are days that price crisscross.
My chart set set is 1440 minutes=daily open line only
and My entry trigger is 10 pips
plus nothing work 100% since the first shot, if the first shot fail keep firing the gun when your entry point is reached and control your risk

Remember price love to travel from one side to the other and back again many times.
That is trading,just make your own template add what ever you like to help you

That vertical line was inspired by Rell4's idea to wait for additional confirmation if the breakout occurs before 10:30 AM. If you don't want a line, then set it to some impossible time. For example set TimeMarkHours to -1
