Trading the Nasdaq is not forex, either. I am trading options in NDX, which is the Nasdaq 100 index. If you don't know anything about trading options, I recommend you learn. If you like money, trading options on NDX is the most lucrative approach to trading I have found, given the huge size of NDX, a $20,000+ product. As noted above, I expect US indices to rally into the next month or so, a relief rally off the cleared elections and a consistently dovish Fed. I am looking to trade NDX as shown below, a Nov 22/Nov 25 21,500 call calendar. This means I'm selling the Nov 22 call and simultaneously buying the Nov 25 calls. This is called a calendar (or time) spread. Doing spreads is a way to lower the cost basis of a trade while still maintaining a possibility of high profit. The trade shown risks $5200 max to make a max profit of >$150k.

I don't want to hijack the thread here to talk about options trading, anyone interested can check out the LTO thread, but I thought I'd share a different way to trade the Nasdaq...

Good day!
US day election!
Nothing really to update. NQ is within a compression and tight range. Low liquidity and uncertainty will be with us for another few hours/days (if results will be contested).
All major stocks at pre-market opening are trading inside yesterday range. This tells you how boring will be this day in trading.
In this environment, quick in and out is the strategy, but a better one is to stay a side. Other opportunities are coming and NQ will go up with lower risk. GL!

The 5min opening range was bullish. We might see a new LH forming between 20165-20369 and a sell-off before NY closing.

My advice: do not play the heroes, fast in and out if you want to jump in; otherwise algos and speculators are in the driver seat...

Trump made a clean sweep!
As mentioned in the weekly analysis, scenario a is in play! Already SP500 made a new ATH. NQ is lagging behind, but it's coming.
So looking for opportunities to join the train.
All stocks will open with a nice gap up, in particular TSLA (sincerely, it does not deserve it!).
Tomorrow we have the FED, not sure if market will make a stop or continue up.

The current retest is not meeting the criteria of distanciation/displacement. This could be a trap.

A trap is underway...I'm not longing it, I might short it if I got a retest of the lower of the opening range that meets all criteria.

I open short just 20 points under ATH my SL is one point higher than ATH. TP open. Low risk trade.

Last week similar harmonic pattern gives me lot of money. I hope it will play again. Very tight SL. Trade safe guys.
