This is great! but just to add an indicator I developed has today hit 13 straight wins @ 1:2 for 26R before any loss on gold today during the 1M downtrend if you want to test it out

That's cool! It's really nice to see people who are big on economics.

Second major was not on the plans but wanted to add some contrast to daily life to keep it interesting

I wish I had the same mindset at the time haha. Instead chose to do a masters in FRM.

Glad it worked out well in the end however.

I'm assuming because price was under your MA's it you were just shorting when price broke upward?

Almost, I wait for volume to appear and then enter.

Been trading gold for 2 years exclusively but decided to share my success with the forum in case it helps them which is why I mentioned.

I just happen to take two trades for the day during the US session .. it was a classical setup .. price made a peak formation breaks the neck line and dropped .. and i am of the opinion its not done yet.. i may be wrong but lets see .. what Asia has to bring .. experienced traders like @isabelle kept on highlighting this from days in advance .. what an interesting move ..

Yeah, volume makes the market move so using it as a confluence helps with entries.

Works best with centralised markets though i.e futures.

I think so, too. Target zone 2688-2700. Price will bounce up from here but to create a downward channel.
The 2750-2760 area will create a strong resistance for the down price channel in frame D. In my opinion.
