I trade with and with out SL depending on the strategy I use, usually on HTF I you take 70% of the retracement of a move the PA come back and allows you to close you're trade at BE. But you need a good management of you're risk management and be ready to take you're loss too
Yep, I use stop loss, but man it's been a journey. At first I'd set it way too tight and get stopped out, only to see the market bounce right back. Frustrating AF. 
Learned the hard way that it's not about picking some random number you gotta let the trade breathe.
These days, I use it to define my risk, not just to avoid losses. It's more like giving the trade room to work while keeping things in check. Sometimes I'll tweak it based on price action but I'm always thinking about risk management first.
Biggest lesson? Stop loss isn’t about zero losses—it's about managing 'em. When it hits, I take it as a sign to chill and re-evaluate instead of holding onto a loser. Keeps me from going tilt and blowing up my account

2months noobie trader here who was ridding the dollar bull... 1.i did not use SL until today's big drop of usd that destroy my entire account.. 2.will use from now on) to not get liquidated. lesson learned

My advice; definitely use a stop loss, I would advise you to base your SL on the ATR ( Average True Rating, indicator) youtube with the search string “ forex SL TP on ATR ” returns the following: https://www.youtube.com/results?sear...x+SL+TP+on+ATR If you use the ATR for your SL and TP, then you have a good risk management as a starting point for your money management. I experiment with different fonts, and change the sizes, currently liking Consolas Bold.
Here is it is as a Dashboard.
You can always message the coder on MQL5 - he fixed a few things that I pointed out - read the comments section.
PS - I just checked and Carsten just asked for something like that, if you add another comment, he will fix it quicker; unless you are Carsten maybe?
