Maybe I've solved it...the problem arises when I load the H1 data, in the initial panel of the TS BAR=1d appears by default...I have to change it and put BAR=1h...it's as if it doesn't automatically read the time hourly format

Seems like you are using excel formatted data... that could be the reason.

Oh, ok. Let's recap then:

1. An up trend can become a down trend.
2. An up trend can become a sideways trend.
3. A down trend can become a sideways trend.

Very interesting. So basically what you're saying is that the market can go ANYWHERE AT ANYTIME ... except apparently in the direction actually projected? Gotcha. The logical conclusion to take away is that your 'projection' lines are utterly meaningless and project nothing of value from a trading point of view, especially in this particular case because there was NO CHANGE IN TREND WHATSOEVER. Brilliant.

Just one more thing (as Columbo used to say)...

If your projection lines don't represent forecasted price direction then how come at the end of every week you post a follow up chart of EUR/USD showing how many (real or hypothetical) pips you supposedly bagged as a result of taking trades in the forecasted direction of your non-representative-of-price-direction projection lines?

Reach for those stars kids, just make sure to get your head out of the clouds.

Just want to comment and clarify a few things.

  1. Projection lines are not designed to predict the exact price direction. They are meant to identify key turning points in time, using both price movement cycles and astro cycles. This makes the methodology more about timing rather than guaranteeing price movement.
  2. Yes, the market can move in any direction, but the strength of projection lines lies in highlighting moments when a reversal is more likely, not in providing 100% accurate trend predictions.
  3. Jerry has done an enormous amount of work, and there is significant data backing his projections from 2016 onwards. You can check out the stats for yourself: https://jnevins.com/2016predictions.html ...... https://jnevins.com/2024predictions.html
  4. Of course, no one can predict the market with 100% accuracy, but if you look at the stats from 2016 to 2024, the results are quite impressive. Jerry’s forecasts are based on cycles and patterns, which won’t always align with short-term market moves. However, the overall success rate speaks for itself for those who utilize such tools.

I don’t think anyone here is trying to "reach for the stars," as you put it, but dismissing the methodology without examining the real data seems a bit premature.

Hi Jerry- how do you update data from MT4 or 5 in a TS saved chart without having to open a new chart every time? In other words, I have a 15m chart of SPX500 that I saved. I want to update the same chart to the latest price data which I already exported from MT5 and saved in TS. I don't want to just keep open a new chart every time. Thanks

Unfortunately, I don't know that there is a way to do that. If using Timing Solution Data, you can update it but then you are limited to daily data. There is code on the TS website for live feeds from MT4 into a TS chart, but I have never gotten it to work.

End of the week recap... net 21 pips from post 14,171, October 18.

This was an experiment week which didn't work out so well. I combined all of the helio aspects into one composite line rather than going with the last aspect of the week as I have been doing of late. I barely scraped by with no loss.

Actually all weeks are experimental weeks in a sense.

The light gray vertical lines are the aspect lines, visible in post 14,171.

New EA to play with...

I have been experimenting with writing EA's using the incredible power of Anthropic's Claude.ai Here is my effort today.... Use on 1 hr bars, EURUSD, in Stratey Tester, MT4. It opens trades at 04 and relies for trade direction by measuring the slope of the line that connects the open of the 00:00 bar and the open of the 04:00 bar. As a filter, the slope of the Stochactic RSI comes into play, long and short.

1 year test, Oct 2020 - Oct 2024, 93.4% gain, 2.9 tp and 26 pip stop loss.
