I often find myself testing and trying various methods and theories on a daily basis. I believe that without proper testing, it's not worth starting to trade with real money. I know there are many who believe everything should be tested in live trading, but I disagree. Firstly, it's expensive, and secondly, it takes a long time. Yes, of course, psychological factors, fears, and assumptions based on them are absent. But I prefer to stick to the principle – measure seven times and cut once. In other words, test seven times, and only then am I confident in what I'm doing.
But there’s one thing I need to fix. I often return to previous tests, but I no longer remember the details and results (because I test and try so many things). So, I’ll document all my experiments here to have a way of keeping track and returning to them if needed.
