DislikedI want to ask all the expert traders here that, is it possible to earn 30% of our invested capital in a compound way for consistently for 4 years? I have seen many traders that claim to have a gain of more than 30% per month, are they telling the truth? If it's possible then investing only $100 can be turned into $29,463,267.63 after 48 winning month. I want to ask all the traders that is there any real strategy that can make it possible? Even I made a strategy which looks to be holy grail and giving me about 30% per month. But I don't know how...Ignored

Yeah, possible, people can have really good weeks, I just had one, relative to my last few 
this was a good week
about a 30% ROI
The reason my profits look like this, is because I scale into winning trades, so my profits go up quick on days when I am right, like how much I made on Friday, relative to the other days.
And had more time to trade, since I didn't have to do much at work.
But you would be a fool to think you can do it every week 100%.
Focus on your locus of control.
The things that will impact how you actually trade, most importantly to me, is controlling how much you lose on bad trades, and accepting that that is part of being a trader.
My infamous streak a few years ago when I had like 78 trades in a row go my way, and turned like $500 into $5k in a few weeks, is a perfect example of a flawed approach.
If I had been happy to take small losses, I could have made even more money during that time, because I wasn't focused on some pointless arbitrary streak/ego trade.
Because I would have been able to reposition my capital into better more probabilistic trades.

the best hedge fund in the world (renaissance technologies) made 60% (with fees) each years since the 70's so...no it's not possible. 10% maybe but certainly not 30%
1.6 ^ 50 is huge . İf they started with 1000 then that means they have about 1.6 trillion dollars
But 1.6 ^ 10 is not that big = 100.

1.04^14/1.02^6 ~= 53% maybe this is the correct formula
