After such slow grind higher, I can see buyers playing it safe and closing some of their short-term positions prior to the CPI

exactly what i did.
took the money at 2617 after paying nice and heavy triple swap yesterday.

sideline now, impossible to read it short term IMO only.

That is Exactly what most traders dont learn,
first get your investment back in your bank so you can start thinking about investing it somewhere else best option will be long term,
and then you start building your account,
because we are human even if you started with 1k and went to 10K your mind is always thinking my money is at risk,
trading is skill of Mind set,
so when you have no Fear of loosing money,
it will become easy to control your emotions,
there are no rational Decisions in trading that is a fact,
human mind is very suggestable, somewhere we read about euro may get weaker because interest rate cut fear looms,
that sticks to out mind and most of the time we make decisions according to that with out realizing it.
i have studied phycology of Trading for many years,
so be Patient
"Rome was not built in a day"

it may take a year or 2 but always play the long game,
take a lesson from Warren Buffet.
and Read when you are free that is what i do,
because Readers are Leaders,
i read it somewhere

sure if u bought now and sold 2655! Personally if it got to 2655 and I had a buy probably let it ride higher , cross 2630/40 and new highs more more probable… need to get those levels first !
