Some correlation - the big thing is the collapse for the currencies - Gold can just track sideways, BUT there should be some sort of decline of some degree in gold - I'm not convinced it will be "mega" though, compared to GBPUSD and EURUSD - I think that is where the money is going to be made shorting them, once the turn down arrives

The most important thing is that they... choose the time to release the news... they need gold at a higher price to sell because there is no more news to put more pressure on the price.

The same old strategy of manipulating information is still effective for some people.

If you’re confused wait for Tokyo tomorrow for clearer PA things should be a bit more settled to allow you an entry either up or down.

For now, bullish momentum is in play, you could buy the dips but again if you’re confused best to stay and watch or this kinda choppy PA is where you lose money. Trade safe!

I say buy the dips coz we have a structure change to the upside again. But this is what I see and my opinion.

Its safe haven appeal, at times of distress/conflict like this investors flock to gold and the dollar.

If you were around last year when the war first broke out and gold started climbing, gold and dxy climbed together. It’s pretty normal you can’t trade gold off dxy anymore.

That's right, if you trade long enough, it's normal to see DXY and Gold increase together.
Basically, other currencies, commodities, and stocks fall sharply and cash flow will focus on both gold and DXY.
There may be many other arguments depending on the investor.
