We only need to address the notion that back in 2007. after the Fed started cutting rates that the Gold has gone up for months after the Fed's first rate cut. First rate cut took place in September of 2007. and only in March of 2008. did the PMs made that inevitable retracement. However, how many accounts were blowned until the March of 2008....

short silver and long gold trade would have done wonders today. manufacturing PMI being down and in contraction is bad for silver which is tied to dow jones index

I don't know... I expected they would go down some on the news since the price was going up, up and up without a retracement after that sell that happened earlier in the day. Seems like the price will continue moving higher...
