I realize that FOMC is this week, so most technical stuff is out of the window until then. However, I can not help but think gold will reach the 2718-20 area. That is really the only major overhead resistance I can find. I will look to scalp a couple of shorts back to support and then, most likely, flip to long for the mentioned area. I think we will be safe to come down to 2080 after we hit that zone. Of course none of this matters until FOMC is released but that is my current bias. I will update if anything changes. {image}
As price draws closer to the TL it has changed, I am expecting around 2640-60 area now; anything above this should be an extension of price action. I would expect a fall and or a final extension and overthrow of this trendline. Obviously I will check for signs in that area.
