Hi, the attached indicator alerts only at candle close, can someone please recoded it so that it alerts during candle?

I tried to do it on ChatGPT but it always has coding errors on compiling

Hello coders,

I am not sure how much work is required for this request, but can you please convert the attached indicator from MT5 to MT4?

Please provide the .mq4 version as I will use it to create another indicator with a program that only reads .mq4 files.

Any specific reason why this specific one?
There are tons of OBOS in mq4 readily available.

It's the same one, only MQL4 is a bit different than MQL5 and doesn't provide the same graphical options.
Apart from that, MT4 was there long before MT5, so it's not like the OBOS idea was coded for MT5 first!

maybe, I misunderstood of your request.
I understood you request as "2 quarters High and Low" (6 months period including Prev Qtr and Prev2 Qtr )
Should I change to just Prev2 ( quarter High and Low? ( 3 months period )

c.pQrtLow: This is Previous 2 Quarters ago low, presently manually inputed
d.pQrtClose: This is Previous 2 Quarters ago Close, presently manually inputted

if that is the case, fix is attached.

The 2 quarters ago is January1 to March 31
Current quarter is July1 to Sep 30
Previous quarter is April 1 to May31 which is the quarter indy that is okay
Previous 2 quarters ago is Jan 1 to March 31 which is this one you are adjusting.
The pQrtOpen, pQHigh and pQClose are now okay.
But the pQrtLow is still not okay. As shown with the arrow. The lowest Price (1984.26) for the 2previous quarters ago9lanuary to March)

I loaded this EA that you're referring to above(correctly loaded I may add) on 4H chart and received a code131 error and so this EA has not taken a single trade so far...what could be the problem?
