Why do you need a script?
Use the "Draw text" or "Draw text label" tool.

Otherwise, if you want the text to follow the current price, you need an indicator.
.ex4/.ex5 files can't be fixed or modified / I'm not a coder!

thanks , so impossible for script to do that. not even to drop the text somewhere nearby so it can then manually adjusted?

A script doesn't make anything easier or quicker.
You get exactly the same thing using "Draw text label" only without the need to open the Navigator window.
You click on the icon, you click on the chart where you want the label, you input your text in the "Description" box, and click OK.

It is working for the Current Quarter Open.
The Previous Quarter Open is still not working, when the Custom Input period of the date setting is used.
The Previous Quarter Open(2244.14) is as marked in the chart

i wanted to have a set of scripts with pre written text and no input show so it drop the text with the pre written Description...

Here, updated version - it will use next month candle if you select custom period.
On previous version, I didn't include that as period would be any period, not quarterly.

Perfectly okay now for the current Open, Previous High, Low and Close.
And also perfectly okay for the Previous Open, 2 quarters ago High, Low and Close.

Yessir, that screenshot was from the MT4 version. It's the MT5 version that needs editing.

If you want the text to stay in a fixed x/y position on the screen, then you need OBJ_LABEL.
OBJ_TEXT will stay on the price and the time which you placed it on, so it will move to the left with every new candle.

I will write you a script which you can rename and have many instances.
