Hi everyone, I was wondering if someone could create a simple (I think, at least for you guys) indicator that displays a rectangle when the distance between the centre of 2 bars is >= to a specified value (in the settings). It would be greatly appreciated.

Something always slows you down when fully transitioning to MT5.
Does anyone have the Indis Rulers and High_Low_MTF_Period for MT5?
I don't have the source code for MT4.

Hello dear community,

I have had an idea for a reversal indicator for a long time. It would be really nice if someone who has the time and inclination could code it.
My idea is to combine 3 TMA indicators into one signal indicator.

- The first TMA is HTF
- The second TMA is MTF
- The third TMA is LTF

The indicator should only give a signal if all TFs together produce a signal.

It would be nice if there were individual time frames and setting options for all 3 TMAs.

Unfortunately I don't have the mq4 version of the TMA, so I'm attaching a similar version of the TMA indicator here.

So if someone has the time and inclination to implement this I would be very grateful. I think this task is definitely not easy, but the idea behind it is definitely worth it.

Would this not simply be a smoothing system for a fast MA or momentum indicator. ? The distance bars could be used just like volume bars at the bottom of the chart to show momentum.

I too would be very interested to know how these are utilised.

Great coders, I need your help.
I don't know if there is an indicator that connects me with a line the high and low of the day during a week.
If in case any coder can help me in coding or providing this indicator, as seen in the attached graph, ONE LINE SHOULD CONNECT THE HIGH AND LOW OF EACH DAY DURING THE DAYS OF THE WEEK, JUST THAT. TIME FRAME OF 1 HOUR

Basically, the idea has zero practical utility.
People are stuck on analysing the past, and they can't understand that all profit and loss is in the future - not in the past.
We never see the future candles, so all those past ideas work only in the past.
So, what's the point in creating all those arrows and objects visible in the past?
If we can't create them in the future?

I would never argue with that. I find most indicators pretty useless. Filling a screen with stuff that has alreqady happenend and may, or may not, happen again has always been futile.
There are, of course, a few favourites that I keep returning to. The full BBMA system being probably my favourite.
Having said that, i'm happy to trade a bare chart and price action....

Thank you so much for this. There is a slight change required though if you wouldn't mind. The colour of the bar should be based on if the midpoint of the bar is higher/lower than the midpoint of the previous bar. At present it is using open/close of the current bar.

I am trying to find an indicator that I have seen somewhere before. It simply calculates the MA of price on the main chart, where the user can choose from any of about 20 different methods. These methods include the basics, simple and exponential, to more elaborate ones like Wilder, Hull, iTrend, JSmooth, T3, Laguerre, etc. Does anyone remember such an indicator?

can someone make me a range indicator that extends the high and low of a specified range (based on time of day, so maybe I choose 1pm-5pm in the variable) whereby the lines extend infinitely, until price touches the line?
