Hello, I'd like to hear your opinion about ICT and SMC, I've seen countless people everywhere, youtube, IG, discord etc following these methods and saying that they've made bank, I'd also would like to mention the fact that I havent seen any proof that they made profit in long term.

in the other hand I've seen some legit videos with proof that they've showed how the founder of this concept is an absolute fraud.

I'd be more than happy to hear what you guys think!

Most of the people who say made banks are from ICT, most of the time, are teenage kids with brocoli hair saying they withdrew 100k and take 1:50 RR trades. ICT himself started 2 lives accounts and blew both of them. I mean, if you want to trust the guy, you are kind of naive and gullible. He keeps saying he will participate in the next world forex tournament and win the robbins cup. The only time he participated, he again lost and quit halfway through. I may lack empathy, but if you get scammed by someone like him, you kind of deserved it. I have no sympathy. Do your homework and ask for proofs.

ICT loses live and says he is losing trades because people see him taking his trades live and follow him, therefore the algorithm is targeting them and this is proof that his strategy works. Like wtf. The guy is delusional, saying HE invented the algorithm. Come on. If I tell you im Santa Claus, are you going to believe me?

So this ICT guy has been caught photoshopping a screenshot of a withdrawal, first denied it, then when faced with the obvious proof decided to change his narrative to "I did it as a joke"...
Then he kept on talking about the Robbins Cup, but kept failing. And his is excuse was, "I did it on purpose"...
Before that, it the times when he was active on Babypips, he started a group where he would post stuff, and when it didn't work out he would delete it...
His few trades that he made live on Youtube, have been a catastrophic fail, and his excuse was, "the market makers are targeting my SL"

This is so atrociously ludicrous, that you might think it's hard to even come up with such bullshit.
Yet, and that's probably the most fascinating thing, is that he has always found enough braindead idiots to follow him and keep him relevant.
There is a strong marketing community behind him, when you look at all the Youtube / IG content, with interviews of unknown "traders" who have magically found profitability (never live, of course) and happened to have a course or mentorship to spread the good word.

So overall, yeah, he's totally legit.

haha that's exactly the video that i was reffering to, but here's a thing right? he denies that he don't know crap about market for obvious reason, he profits off of selling courses and feeding his own ego, I get it, but why all these cult following fans of ICT try to justify it and lie about being profitable so much and having +90% winrate? what do they get?

I know right? I've seen so many videos, channels and literally cults in youtube about it, they literally worship him, I don't know why tho, they might be actually slow or they also profiting off of selling their own ICT courses, and when you try to ask them about ICT founder being a fraud they always come up with this answer: you know what? ICT founder might be a fraud but my course is a mix of ICT and PA, I've mixed them and came up with this system that never loses" like what? just give up the act already.

I find it is complex crap. Trading can be done much simpler. If you deeply understand to trade with the momentum and not against it, you can make enough money without get headache learning unsuitable stuff.
I gave my childs a simple momentum strategy and after several minutes they came out with impressive simulation results. No need to follow him.

3. Lots of guru out there with courses reselling ICT stuff as their own with some tweaks because it seems thats what retail traders want. Like, the cult and following of ICT is insane so there is money to be made selling its stuff. So you are going to say it works and it made you a millionnaire and then you are going to start your own course.

Many educators out there don't trade at all, it is more lucrative selling courses / books / you tube videos etc.

You have to be clever enough to look at all the free stuff around and then discern for yourself what actually works (& possibly the why)

Spend time testing & researching before throwing real money at something just because someone said he has made millions.

That's the thing. It's become such a profitable ecosystem, that new scammers join in, just because they know they will have a portion of the idiot-cake, it's like a perpetual lie. The ICT/SMC narrative has a strong visibility / marketing, it's easy to fish for gullible newbies.

He is a very obvious fraud when you look at all of the evidence, but if you listen to his ridiculously long videos where he drones on about God this and algorithm that he does have a certain way of speaking that hooks you in. It's hard to explain but I can see why he has the charisma to become a cult leader of sorts.

My Experience: I wanted to know what is the hype about ICT and SMC, so although trading successfully my own techniques, I went "undercover" for $49 dollars a month as a new trader learning the ropes and who is naive and knows nothing.

There were more than a 100 traders in the discord and "scammers" who collected money and preached that ICT in the best thing that can happen to sub/ trader, always came up with excuses why this or that trade did not work out, some of the reasons - because it is not true Choch or BOS or whatever crap they could come up with.

I cancelled my membership after a month, I calculated, they lost 20 trades out of 28 trades, leaving them net loss of about 12%-15% on the account. There were many subs who accepted the excuses.

After studying myself and being in the very "promising and elite level" discord, my Conclusion: ICT, SMC - total crap that does not work.

You didn't need to spend any money at all, there is a plethora of information on ICT / SMC, videos, PDF's etc. doesn't seem to be
any copyright at all.

It is also very similar to the material pushed by Sam Seiden & Co. with Supply & Demand, again loads of info available freely online.

My own conclusion is that you don't become successful by reading & watching material, in the same way as you can't become a professional footballer by watching Lionel Messi play.

YOU have to get seriously stuck in, loads of research & backtesting, deliberate repeated practise, recording trades stats, often tweaking etc. etc.

The edge is not the trading system, but it is YOU.


IMHO - If you fail at something, it is often very easy to point the finger at someone else.

I am not endorsing any system / course etc. you have to do your own due diligence, I honestly do not think One month is long enough.

Judging by all the reviews of this character - Not likely.

The ICT founder hasn't "found" anything, he has regurgitated a lot of material that has been around for many, many years.

Maybe he coined or appropriated the new terminology, designed to intrigue the inquisitive mind and make money by selling courses
and not by actual trading the material he pushes.

Many successful trading authors out there, such as Steve Nison, who have never traded, but have used material from elsewhere and
made it their own.

They have done a good job at the marketing/advertising level by attributing resonant names to their systems and appearing on major platforms such as youtube. Their presence was so constant that I sometimes wondered where they found the time to trade.

Modified version of SMC/ICT works, but this require filtering, first of all you need to define a trend, find good order block and reversal pattern, but it's in a very huge short cut.
