I mentioned PUJJ to check some important metrics on it. Yes, PUJJ had two months of losses before achieving seven consecutive months of gains. Continuing or starting over from scratch is a choice every trader makes for various reasons. One of the reasons could be that, regardless of whether they're in a profitable or losing position, $43 must be paid every month, while getting an allocation is not an instant process and to get some profit of it.

today was the first cpi news day for my darwin account.....it's less than 1 month old.....

noticed something interesting......

darwin uses 2 terms, one is ranking, i think it need to be low...... another one is rating , i think it needs to be high....... i'm basing that on ranking is the number on the left and rating is the number on the right of the darwin traders ticker......

anyway the interesting thing is, at least to me, yesterday i was ranked around 180/190..... after cpi, my ranking moved down to 400/500 ..... to me this implies a lot money was made...... most not by me......

now once the dust has settled, my ranking is 155...... what can i derive from that......

to me, it appears the saying, " it's easier to make money than it is to hold on to it'" might be true......

or maybe not......h

noticed it says i have 40,000 in my darwin account..... not sure what that's about......as far as i know, it's way to early for me to have anything, other than dreams....... still have 20 days to go......h

Impressive work on DZero, hayseed and the risk ratio is also excellent within the limits (your maximum VaR 2.83%). Ranking is useful for the top 1 to 20, after which the allocation doesn't change much. Moving forward, I might just invest in you.

Meanwhile, I don't plan to continue with my second account, and the billing date is due on September 13th. I YOLOed twice yesterday but didn't succeed. Maybe my trading character in general is more suited to a gambler than the DZero type. Overall for DZero, not a successful journey on both attempts (for allocations), but valuable lesson taken after the last 73 days back on FF, especially for how DZero VaR engine works (complex system) and profit sharing percentage (if any, monthly). I'm pulling the brakes for a moment, as my office work is piling up.

Monty did it with a very large capital. We should be looking for opportunities with small capital, certainly not in Dzero.

It's still too expensive; that means $38 per month. As discussed previously, the subscription fee should not exceed $30 per month, for the opportunity to get an some 50k allocation and a 15% profit share, and some knowledge about the VaR Engine.

hey roels..... yes, i clearly understand ...... there was a time in my life where 38$ meant the world......

today the cost is not even considered..... i'm using darwin to improve my trading overall...... more of a trading mentor..... which should vastly increase my returns over all......

extrapolation is a valid concept.......h

Just back from a 5 day cruise, did not purchase the internet......highly recommended if you just want to completely disconnect from civilization for a few.
Darwin update, only traded 4 days so far this month, aiming for 4% to get another 95K to bring total allocation to 155k.

Yes, and I am thankful every day that they are not even close to being in the same world. They are what the props were pretending to be and I am 100% confident I will build a long standing revenue stream with them.....how much? no idea...... Pretty sure I can get 300K+ in seed from them, what I get from investors will truly determine the scope of how big I can take this.

feel completely confident you will also..... we will get out of darwin in direct proportion to what we put in..... in this case, hard work and determinization pays off..... that appeals to me..... hard work appeals to me.....

i'm not interested in investor money at all..... my sole goal is to use darwin to learn to trade better..... much better......

apex is money enough for me...... i'm moving into 300k accounts..... slowly..... will end up just canceling my 25, 50 and 150 papex accounts in favor of the 300's.....

should have 1 or maybe 2 finished next week..... and want to be in the darwin double digit rankings this month......

odds are against me...... neither will be easy.....

What is Darwinex doing for the American traders that ftmo wasn't?

Darwinex was there the same when ftmo was in operations in us., yet Americans weren't flocking to it.
Is it 'discovered' now that ftmo is no longer available?
Or Americans are doing with best they got at hand now which is apparently Darwinex?

before being able to answer that fully, i'd have to know what ftmo was doing...... i do not.....

darwin gives us a more real life view of a professional trader..... it does not force on you trading rules..... it has a clear and verbally stated interest in you doing well.... the more successful you are the more successful they are...... they are bent on finding and sourcing successful traders.... the shortage is in successful traders.....

you could say the same of canada...... do not give americans too much credit...... we don't know as much as we think we know..... darwin is not a pushy door salesman..... it takes some time to filter thru the grape vine.....

you seem focused on ftmo..... ftmo is not the only broker that has left the states..... some brokers that are still here have changed so much they might as well leave.....

i had seen darwinex long ago but when trying to register always got the 'no americans served here' sign...... so moved on.....

it was pipmaster and some of the others non stop posting about darwin zero a few months ago..... so much , several guys complained..... can't hold that against them, same thought crossed my mind.....

americans might do better with apex...... darwin will be a difficult hand to play....

hey outthere..... not sure what your referring to..... thought your post i replied to was definitely a good one......

i've saved quite a few of expo's , pipmaster's and kalastaja's posts from the prop firm hub thread where they explained things.....

sometimes they explained things that had not entered my mind......

that's a real time saver.....h
