noticed a while back, your trading style radically changed on 8/6/24...... it became precise...... looking at the entire field of forex..... with targets less than the 60 minute atr...... no doubt there is a well defined and followed set of rules applied to all forex pairs.....

At least to be considered successful in Darwinex Zero, we already know the categories:
1. Positive Index (above 100)
2. VaR below 6.5%
3. Current Risk Ratio of 1 or above

So far, I see that only Pip's data matches the category, and Trader #2 Silver August (ATWF). For DarwinIA Silver, I only check the top 10. Other metrics are no longer that important. That is the pure data, non the psychological aspect.

A Risk Ratio of 1 means normal; a trader is taking neither excessive nor insufficient risk (according to Darwin). A VaR Ratio (Risk Ratio) greater than one means a trader is succeeding in managing their trade risk. A VaR Ratio below one means a trader is failing in managing their trade risk.

My risk ratio is 0.37.

I was likely to get 30k yesterday. My index was 74.88.

However, someone said, on Monday, the Index will be reduced. Let us see how Monday reacts.

Ok you spent WAY too much time explaining what we already know without answering the simple question I asked.

If I earn 5% per month for 12 months with a risk ratio of 0.5 then who cares what the risk ratio is at. As long as you have enough leverage to make 3-5% a month it doesn't matter.

Isn't the current target 50k funding? Well, I hope it works out, bro. If your goal is to grow slowly to 20%, that's fine. But if the goal is to get a monthly income, it's tough with a Risk Ratio of 0.37.

What we need to do now is simply acknowledge that we are still more of a gambler trader type rather than a D-Dzero type like Pip. If we trade somewhere else, that's not a problem, right? No need too much ego or pride of being a successful trader in the random world of trading.

As for Darwin is concerned, I take it like process.

Some one said, it is early to get funded within a month.

But i was close to it.

I have still 28 days more ( subscription paid ) to achieve some result. I will continuously post update here.

That's where you're wrong my friend.

UJ has a daily range of over 200 pips. I don't need full leverage. $200 a day = 4% a month.

I'm at 0.44. If I trade GBP/USD for 2 lots I get 0.88 lots. 20 pips = $176. And my risk ratio will be going up in the future even though I won't need it.

I mean look what I did in month 1 with only 0.44 and now I only need to make 0.78% for September for the second allocation

Well, that's where the difference of opinion lies. You were lucky to get a 0.44 risk ratio after the period of overleverage, and your index was high, starting at 5.25% (so your rating was already successful above 75). You might not need a normal Risk Ratio, but by continuously taking high risks, will your risk ratio remain at 0.44 forever? May we know your Maximum/Minimum VaR?

Darwinex for the long term, therefore I estimate it might take 2 months to get an allocation, if the index results are good, and so on. So paying $100 USD for aim 50k funding in 2 months is simple math. Now your risk ratio has decreased from 0.71 to 0.37, hasn't it?

I started at 5.25%? I don't know what you're talking about. My risk was reduced to 0.7 on my first day of trading in August when I was at 100K and I still made over 6% even as my risk reduced further to 0.44 by the middle of the month.

And yes, if you start your calibration phase in the first week of a new month you can get the allocation in one month. Just end the month at 75 which isn't hard to do as I did for 2 accounts.

The obsession with risk is a little over the top. Sure, if you're at 0.1, 0.2 it may be a problem. And if that's the case you start over and stop trading like an idiot. No problem.

Now that we all have a basic understanding of how the engine works it shouldn't even be an issue. For forex trade 1-3 lots with 2 positions max and the risk engine becomes irrelevant.

Of course, there are two options: either reduce over-leveraging so that the risk ratio of 0.44 will increase to 1 in the following month, or it's not a problem for you to achieve a 1% or 2% return per month. That's fine. Your Rating Index is already successful, you are allready successful get the allocation.

For myself, I want to see my risk ratio and VaR after the adjustment, but as for the Index, I haven't succeeded yet. It's still at -2.8% in this calibration phase. If you don't agree with my conclusion in this post #102 that's okay.

I do not accept in general over leveraging causes big issue.
My risk ratio reduced so much from 0.71 to 0.44 and then to 0.37.
My index jumped from 56 to 74.88 within few days.
R:R matters I think.

My darwin Index got reduced to 67 this morning. ( Not much less, but less nevertheless )

May be it is due to what you said, and also i have some open trades in floating.

Edit : My current open trades contribute 7.16 Darwin.

74.88 - 7.16 = 67.72

So the reason for Darwin index reduction is due to current open trades and floating loss

It is indeed not worth the time spent, because the goal is long-term. However, successful Darwin graduates (the 3 criteria we’ve discussed, such as Pip) will certainly have an advantage in any Prop Firm, as they are already accustomed to managing VaR.

Ideal models will never truly exist, perhaps only in literature or thought. If there are any, that's great. Hoping to achieve a great monthly profits at a prop firm with low testing costs and low profit targets? That's difficult.
