Macro view into fundamental is for long-term and people often put it aside since it doesn't support their short-term benefits. The world's changing and so the markets, especially don't forget gold is a commodity.
10 years, 5 years ago we don't have worldwide pandemic which exposed the madness of government intent towards more absolute control. We don't have the spreading conflicts with fear of nuclear war. And what amongst those is the weakness in US belief, every common sense bankers, even FED knows it, the USD is done for, fiat system is ways too vulnerable. Every government knows if they stop buying gold or any real value assets, their currency will be less attractive than the toilet paper.

Yes, as other sessions too can be the same. Unexpected volatility always make us believe price is about to fall/rise but actually when closed, it fail to make new lower low or higher high. Then come the big players and the trend continues

Waiting for meaningful correction to enter on the long side again.
2499 and 2466 are the 2 spots.
H4 harmonic swings to natural support and fib level.


Talking about 3000 in the morning and 1000 in the afternoon is not helpful, especially for the noobs. Try to stick with one level at the time would be much more productive.

Gold is high, but not yet scary like was spx before retracement.
More time in the market, does not mean you trade better!

Probably just my tiny brain but even I struggle to follow the thread at times and I'm a seasoned trader

I don't trade at all like you guys, but I'm enjoying the threads and hearing your thought processes

The US Dollar will never be done for. The idea that any significant currency is going anywhere anytime soon is just comical. Anyone who says this clearly does not understand. In 20 years, someone will be in this forum having this exact conversation.

Please look at the dollar chart. Monthly, Weekly, zoom out. Does that look like a dying currency? What do you think the catalyst for the dollar dying will be? Nuclear war? Currencies wont matter than, only beef jerky and bullets.

"Even the FED knows it." Are you telling me that even the Fed knows the dollar is dead? This is wild speculation beyond the realm of realism. Where would you ever come up with that statement? Did they give you a call on the phone? The Fed does not know that, nor would anyone ever know that. The Fed does not now nor ever think the dollar will be dead. Ever.

Any conspiracy, thought, reaction, research, foreshadowing, predictions, and speculation that you can return about this, I've heard it for almost two decades. This tune and tone are the exact same, and yet here we stand. You should have heard back in 2008 how crazy the chatter was. Back in 15, when Chf unpegged, the chatter was wild then, too. It's gone up and down, but it always remains the same talking points.

Nearly two decades and I've seen the same predictions and speculations come and go. Since my first trade, the conditions have always seemed ripe for gold to skyrocket to new highs. The same conditions were also believed to signal the end of the dollar, the euro, the yen, the loonie, and the yuan. Everyone was convinced that these currencies were on the brink of collapse, and that gold was destined to reach $ 3500. The market was predicted to suffer a 90% crash. But here we are, still standing.

This is all noise.

Let's be realistic. Does anyone in here care if gold goes to 1500 or 3000? Probably not, because it doesn't really mean anything to us. Speculating on exaggerated gold prices in 5-10 years means nothing to us. Hell, even speculating where gold will be in 6 months is a waste of time. I don't have gold bars in my basement, so gold can do whatever it wants; I don't care about its future. I care about where it will be within a week's time frame, i care about where it will be tomorrow, and I will speculate a couple of months in advance on a larger time frame but rarely trade it because who will buy and hold gold for the next 4 years?

I think gold needs to go to 2470-2480 to be able to make a new high this week. A sharp decline from real gold is really too difficult. From my ichimoku, the daily frame shows that gold has very strong support, almost unable to break through 2386-2400. Maybe it needs more time if gold wants to correct more strongly below 2400 to be able to go far in the long term.
