The earthquake happened yesterday (July 16) at around 10am Japan time (would be 1am GMT). I know, I felt it here.

Any effect it might have, probably already passed.

gbp jpy should go down and see 247.36 !
12 pm we have gbp news that want to be powerful :d
and today too atentive : forcast of usd news ... usd want to go down for a while ...
this is reason to empower of yourself ...this one should go down ....

some of next reason is this ...
now this is second time that GJ did not break the line 248.70....
then should go down and down ....

bout time. now we wait and tp in the 251-252 range...

News pressed the GU higher, and the GJ said "I wanna play!"

The 248.92 and 249.00 line is being pressured, and the next obstacle will be the 249.17 resistance from 1992, we break above that line and open a new candle above, then the 250.00 and beyond will be opened up for sure.

Looks like that Open above 248.40 on the 30 minutes that Fixme1too was talking about was a indication that LONG was about to go once again.

Now the US NEWS is next in 3 hours.

It would be nice to see the UJ come alive and retrace upward to the 123.13/20 area.

That is right, however the T/P range from Fixme1too is broad (251-252).
What is your point as for T/P ?

I have no problem with the target areas in the 251-252 that Fixme1too is talking about, you may be looking at the smaller picture here, and the 250.00 level.

Fixme1too trades a little larger term, and I am comfortable and accustomed to his perspective.

I can see 250.00 as a quick hit here on the Longs, but I can see this thing going up for a bit more than that, but each trader has their own target areas they are comfortable with, I may be Long at times, and Short at time in all these waves and retraces, but the Long will pay off for sure in all this madness.

My short term target is the 250.00 for now, but I can see 251.56 then 253.13 area in a broader view, and 260.00 areas possibly by the end of the year (1100 pips). Remember we were at 221.00 in March of this year (2800 pips), so it has potential.

For now I will target the 250.00, the Fibo Extension is 250.05 on my count, after that, I will evaluate it once again.

Okay, we broke above the recent 248.92 line set last week, and were above the 249.00 line now.

The next area of importance is the 249.17 which is a high dating back from August of 1992. I am watching now as were pushing against this line, the important factor is close of candles above these areas, for now Fixme1too is basing candle factors on a 30 minute. I am use to the 4 hour candle only, so will watch both the 30 min - 1 hour and 4 hour closing candles, which I have been posting the data on for the past day here.

High 249.20 (as of 6am EST)

Close 249.09 (closed above the high 248.92 and the 249.00 lines, and spiked through 249.17)

The high is at 249.20 which is 3 pips above the key level to breach 249.17, now lets see if the 30 min or hourly can open above this level during this session today.
