Nora Bystra Fantastic 5 Study Journal

In this journal, I want to study the fantastic 5 setups by Nora Bystra when I have free time.

1. SNRC1
- Continuation setup, Low risk
- Entry point is RBR or DBD aligned with support(V) or resistance(A)
- Has 2 modes : Medium and Strong (perfect entry)
1. Medium mode
SOP:
a) Find the entry point, DBD/RBR
b) Support(V) or Resistance(A) has to be within the entry point zone

SOP:
a) Find the entry point, DBD/RBR
b) Support(V) or Resistance(A) has to be within the entry point zone
c) Draw trendline as confluence. Trendline doesn't have to be exact.
d) If no confluence with trendline, then use Engulfing or Double Marabozu as confirmation. Go one or two timeframe above to check for confirmation.

Mistake Traders Always Make
- Support V or Resistance A not within the DBD/RBR.
- Late retest or Entry point far away from DBD/RBR
- Price came back after reacting to Danger zone. We need to know where the price comes from.

2. SNRC2
- Sibling of SNRC1
- Continuation setup, low risk
- Entry point is DBR or RBD. That is the only difference from SNRC1

SOP:
- Find the entry point DBR/RBD
- Resistance A or Support V must be within this DBR/RBD
- Must break 2 resistance/support

How to use Confirmation for SNRC2 to lower risk:
- Multi-time frame analysis
- Look for Engulfing at Higher Timeframe
- Setup has to be at the body of the Engulfing Candle, not at the wick/shadow.
- Price must not have come from a danger zone.

3. QMR (Quasimodo Reversal)
- Over under advanced reversal pattern
- Place to manipulate price as well so be careful

SOP:
- Must be a quick retest.


High Risk QMR:

- When the H and HH are almost at the same level in line chart
- Price makes a LL and takes a long time to come back is considered high risk. Quick retest preferred.
- LL touches the danger zone then it is super high risk.
- When the shadow of L is longer than or same level as the body of LL.

How to use Confirmation for QMR for Low Risk:
- Multi-timeframe Analysis
- Look for Engulfing Candle at Higher Timeframe
- Setup has to be at the body of Engulfing Candle; not at wick or shadow

Been watching her setup for few years now and I can say that I'm amazed by how simple her technique is. Even though the look is simple but effective.

4. QMC ( Quasimodo Continuation)
- Trend continuation after QM reversal.
- Trendline confluence with HH and entry.

SOP:
- 2nd drive has to be HH
- 3rd drive has to be entry.
5 Steps to enter:
-Draw entry point at the left shoulder of QM.
-Mark the zone for easy monitoring
-Draw trendline for confluence
-Change to line chart to check marking
-Change back to candlestick chart and monitor. Price has to be within trendline and entry point confluence.

How to Use Confirmation for QMC to Lower Risk
- Look for Engulfing Candle in Higher Timeframe
- Setup has to be at the body of Candlestick not Wick/Shadow.

Quasimodo Manipulation (QMM)
- Happens when QM setup is broken by price.
- Price will leave an entry point either RBR or DBD align with left shoulder for us to counter-entry.
- Beware of QMM. Don't enter all QMM. Always enter with confirmation.

QMM SOP:

- Price broke LL/HH of QMR structure
- Price create RBR/DBD aligned with left shoulder
- Setup has to be within HTF Confirmation Engulfing's body.

Danger Zone SNR (DZ SNR)
Function:
- Monitoring zone: Did price reject the zone or breakout?
- Determine direction: Identify price movement, whether bull or bear.
- When price react from DZ SNR, opportunity to enter with F5 setup and lower our risk.
- Do not set your pending order(PO) here. Only monitor zone.
- Do not enter full margin in these zone. No rejection, no entry.
- Do not try sniper entry here. Very risky zone.
Details:
- Able to identify strong support and resistant.
- For currency pair use, daily and above. Don't use DZ SNR 4hr and below. For Gold you can use 4hr and above.
- Use line chart to mark
- Put horizontal line at the edge of support and resistant and 2nd movement.
- Change to candlestick and draw zone from edge of SNR to the shadow.

I only see this SNRC2 setup so far. If price does go back down there, it will be coming from Danger zone, so high risk to take it.
Not trying to go below 15 min for setup. Only looking for setup in 15min 30min and 1hr.

I think this is Blind spot short. Havent learnt yet.
