Hi, my name is Amir, I'm a rookie trader in forex, I've been on the chart for less than a few months, but I've been studying charts and what not for like a year.
I made this topic to share my trades here with you guys. Wins and Losses.
I've tried scalping but wasn't for me, too much stress I guess? anyway, 1H timeframe suited me really well, I'm doing good, Im managing my losses and let my winner run as much as I can, there is no stress for me here and I can think freely without feeling any pressure on my shoulders when i analyze the chart.
my trading system is quite simple, more simple than you imagine, let me explain, I go to Daily chart to understand the market structure and it's trend.
then i switch to 4H to draw the trendline and the channel that price is in, then wait as long as I should to find the area to enter, I learned the hard way that i should never trade against the trend so i really avoid it.|
my strongest belief in trading is I should keep everything simple, my mindset, my chart and my trading system, or I feed myself so much information that i get lost in the chart and i make stupid decisions, as traders we don't want that obviously, right?.
I do not have any mentor that I'm in contact with at the moment, but there was a trader that has passed away recently who's name was David Paul, a great trader that i personally learned from so much, you can search him in youtube or google, great stuff you can find. I hope he rest in peace.
I'd be more than thankful if you have any advice for me, or share your experience on chart, or anything that would be helpful for me to become a better trader.
