Silver is kind of hanging on today while Gold is a little bit weaker.

4h chart. Target 2320-2330 possible. Still an uptrend in the long term, but watch out for the downside. Yearly vwap is currently at ~2275 (data from fxcm). 2360 could also be resistance.

The best advice I ever had:
You have to win over yourself and the majority, not the instrument. Trade the emotions and not the fundamentals. If your strategy is not profitable, then open a demo account and try to lose as much money as fast, as you can. If your account is growing, than reverse the strategy. You will be immediately better, than the majority.

Exactly. We came here to exchange opinions (analysis). It is my belief that the more analysis is shared that the more to the point we would all be. We could both sometimes come to the same conclusion while using different tools and strategy. Positive thing about sharing the analysis is that you get a feedback and sometimes actually learn something new that you have been missing in your analysis and haven't paid attention to for some reason or another. We all have blind spots sometimes and miss the forest for the trees.

Fundamentally gold is bearish, however, with turbulence in the middle east and possibility of iran stricking isreal and vice virsa, gold could sky rocket any moment, im staying away for the moment with with considering selling spikes

I'll tell you honestly that I pay attention to the news, but they play no part whatsoever in my analysis and decision making. Analysis is purely technical and that's the way it is supposed to be. Whether majority is Long or Short has basically no effect on my analysis, because it's not relevant and also because I cannot possibly know when the majority is Long or Short. I don't possess that kind of information.

In this business the majority seems to be losing and that should be close to the truth. Bad tools, mainstream propaganda articles, fear and greed trading are just a couple of reasons why majority is losing unfortunately. The core of these problems is not having a system in which you're confident in. No confidence equals bad decisions.

All the news articles are filled with Iran and Israel and the upcoming war and the potential that the US will get involved and so on and so on. People think okay... this should be a good time to start Buying Gold... I mean the war is just around the corner no? Any minute now the news could come out and the Gold would be above 2500$ in a flash. I have to get in before it starts. Obviously, mainstream media never fails to lead the people on the wrong path and starts pushing article after article about war and significance about it with all the top economists sharing their view about it leading the people on the wrong path even more.

This kind of though-process right here has no place in trading or investing. Am I Bearish on PMs, because I think the majority is probably going to Buy Gold, so I can take advantage of the situation? Absolutely not. I couldn't care less if Warren Buffett came out and said he's Buying or Selling Gold. If you have the confidence in the system you're using than this kind of useless information has no bearing on your decision making whatsoever.

To conclude... whether majority is Long or Short is irrelevant (to you). What's going on around the world and who's doing something or saying something is irrelevant. Scenario that you think should probably play out is irrelevant.

What Technical Analysis and your system is suggesting to you is relevant.
