One day

USDCAD, H4

Took that one off the H4 chart, prematurely in both entries, further back you can spot the Turbo Renko trades of what I thought were trends but turned out to be counter-trends.
Still waiting for this to unravel and maybe get me to a smaller loss or even a BE.

Position is still playing out.

USDCHF, H4

Price was hammering on a support area, first entry was right when it went through, second entry was at another break of the support area (another part of it), I'm thinking about adding to this position some more, we'll see.

4xTPs, two trades are still running.

Now that COVID-19 is still looming but not threatening, at least, not threatening my own health (and it did, so, great that it doesn't anymore)ת I'm once again dabbling in Forex

Past experience has taught me that I'm way too eager and FOMO controls most of my trades so, here's to new resolutions

1. 1-2 positions a day
2. Short bias
3. Renko
4. One pair
5. And hopefully a minimum of 1% profit

This might merit a new demo account with which I can play and have actual statistics as current one has been tainted like crazy over the past year

First trade was a bounce of an interesting level, second trade was both a bounce and a higher high fractal, all trades were closed using a 10-pip trailing stop

First trade was a break of a down fractal and an interesting level
Second trade was a higher high fractal and a bounce of an interesting level that triggered a pending order I had there
Third trade was a continuation trade once price broke below the previous lower fractal

GBPUSD, 3-pip Renko, 0.04 lot size, $5.20 profit, 2.7%
First trade was a bounce off the right side of an up fractal, I had another pending order right on the lowest fractal bar but it didn't catch
Second trade was at an interesting level, first down fractal to be broken on an up move
Third trade was placed after a bounce to the interesting level, placed another pending sell at the top of the bounce but it didn't catch
All trades were closed by a 10-pip trailing stop

GBPUSD, 3-pip Renko, 0.04 lot size, $9.60 profit, 4.9%
First trade - a bounce from previous up fractal in an interesting area
There was a second pending order on the low of the first bounce bar which didn't trigger
Second trade - Right at the beginning of the next bar, actually replacing the failed pending order
All trades were closed by a 10-pip trailing stop

So... today's trades, hmmmmm
Woke up later than I wanted which made me rush into entering my first trades, which, in retrospective, I'm pretty sure I would have consider those areas as interesting levels I should trade off but, I was tired, had little time to shower and, out my dog and rush into several meetings which prevented me from babysitting my position (with all of its trades) so I took some losses which also enabled me to practice some loss management, both psychological and practical (initiated my counter-loss routine)
During all this time, in between and during meetings I've contemplated on my state of mind, which varied from being angry at myself to moppy to something more focused and relaxed, my gut feelings and my surrounding and, of course, the EA I am using to handle my trades
Well, on the technical side of things, I discovered the template I was using didn't use the settings I thought it does so none of my previous trades closed because of a 10-pip trailing stop but rather a 5-pip which explains a lot, I also thought hard about trading smaller brick sized Renko charts, in my line of work I sometimes have a lot of free time on my hands and sometimes, like today, I have very little if at all until everything I have to do got done, thoughts about how I handle losses, how I recover from one, or more, and other issues of concern had occupied my time most of today, still, nothing too substantial came out of it, I mean, there's the "regular" stuff like don't trade when you don't have the time, fix the EA, why recover and not wait for another day, if I do go for recovering my losses how do I make sure I do it as technically as possible and such, I'm still processing and the win/profit of the day was not that I was able to recover my loss(es) but the thoughts, ideas and shift in paradigm I'm still in need of processing

Friday's trades

One would have thought that after that crazy Thursday, the following Friday wouldn't go turbo on me, well, it did, in retrospective I still consider the first entry point(s) to be at an interesting area, what I didn't plan on was me dealing with endless things right after placing the first trade and pending orders, I would have taken a smaller loss if I was at home and hey, losses are part of trading so it wouldn't have knocked me down emotionally or something but I had to go out sooooo all my pending orders got served and I was, again, forced to recover, which was OK, not super great, but OK

GBPUSD, 3-pip Renko, 0.04 lot size, $10.56 profit, 5%
I was hoping price would break down harder after I placed the first two trades but it didn't so pending orders were triggered as price went up and then down. Didn't feel it would break down too hard so I let everything close when profit reached 5%

First position - I wasn't super sure about it, used it as a testing trade, if it would have broken down, I might have loaded up a few more trades but it didn't, I changed the SL only once to allow the trade enough breathing area, which it used and was taken out by the SL
Second position - Here I was a bit more confident and loaded up on pending orders which were triggered and all were taken out by, again, the SL
Third position - That was my final attempt and if it would have failed I would have called it a day, pay my losses to the Almight Gods of Chaotic Forex and be done with it, however, I felt the structures were a bit more solid than the previous ones so, loaded up on pending orders and disabled the trailing stop loss
Eventually, all trades were closed by reaching 50% of the account's balance (which, at the time meant around $90 in profit which covered all previous losses)

GBPUSD, 3-pip Renko, 0.09 lot size, $13.41 profit, 4.8%
Very interesting area, it was a touch and go kind of an area, everything could have gone either way so I increased my lot size and went for a short term position composed of two trades, both were a bounce off a higher high fractal, I might have been able to milk it some more but I don't have time to babysit my chart today so, a quick in and out
There probably won't be any trades until Sunday as the company is off to an annual retreat and I'll be busy charming Lady Gin and her Sister Tonic while trying to maintain my head above the pool surface YeY Me! Hope no one pisses in the pool, though

Part of me is FOMO-ing like crazy but I'm glad it's reigned in, at least a bit, there was a time areas like this would have sent me clicking on the open trade(s) button(s) but now, I'm content with the profit I made today and just observe this

I usually don't trade long, well, at least not since I made peace with Shorts, I usually don't have good "eye" for it but this one.... that one was a great one, forming a "2b" or whatever it is called for Renko, annnnnd zooming up so so nicely

Woke up, didn't feel too great about the level, still placed two trades (0.06 lot size) which hit SL (-$43.14) and went into recovery mode
Placed a few fanned out trades (0.05 lot size) in areas I was very comfortable with and should have waited for in the first place, recovery position was closed when profit reached 40% of the account ($102.65 which is a bit more than 40% of the account because price started moving fast and trades took some time to close) to cover the previous loss and add some balance

GBPUSD, 3-pip Renko, 0.07 lot size, $50.26 profit, 14%
Higher high fractal followed by a lower high fractal and another lower high fractal, it was a touch and go and I nearly killed the position several times but eventually it all worked well and I loaded up on the way down

Not shown on the chart but where the last higher fractal there was a nice struggle, price couldn't decide whether to go up or down for several long minutes
Placed two pending orders, one at the high of the Fractal and another at the second bar of the fractal (it's Renko so four bars are enough to decide where a fractal could be), second one caught and price went down, I closed when it started struggling again

I used to beat myself up on missing all these opportunities,. I admit I'm still tingly but I was able to not open another position(s) today and so, the race continues

Was already late for work due to renovations my land lord is doing on the building which stranded me at home for a few hours
I spotted this interesting area just before going to the shower and fanned a few pending orders, took a quick shower and fanned a few more as price went up and down undecidedly so I was building up for a nice position when price had stalled and I took my profit and told my boss I'm on my way
I wonder if this is how it's going to be like when I fund my small live account again, I really really hope so, it looks like I have matured enough to do just that, we'll see

Right Low Fractal is higher than Left Low Fractal, they should be consecutives
Middle High Fractal is the most recent one between Right Low Fractal and Left Low Fractal
Entry is at the High of the Middle High Fractal, pending, break of it, market, everyone have their own opinion on everything and sometimes, strict rules can and should be broken

If anyone knows how to draw a line, automatically, from the second point in a Fibonacci Expansion, it would be great
