The EUR/USD experienced a decline from 1.0835 to as low as 1.0777 due to heightened geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, which led to risk aversion and a strengthening of the safe-haven US dollar. EUR/USD consolidated between 1.0777 & 1.0818 at Asia waiting for Fridays significant release later at the US session - NFP that expected to come lower from the previous month, a miss here below forecast will give momentum to the bulls and can break 1.0850 resistance towards the 1.0870 high but a better release will have the opposite reaction and then EU will turn more bearish again and threaten lower levels like 1.0765 and 1.0735.

Daily volatility (range) 38 pips

Option expiries for Friday: 1.0770 (EU657.1m) & 1.0850 (EU617.1m) Source: financialjuice.com

For now EU is sitting below the monthly pivot at 1.0827 and closed the day below support looking for lower levels. I expect this to hold unless the NFP report or other news take us above. Following price action at these levels on the below chart step by step!
