If no candle (body of the candle) closes above 19228, which is the plan, price should go to test the low of the range. So, buyers will try hard to close above that level; as soon as they give up, jump in. {image}
Now, we have H1 candle closed below the low of the Range which means a further drop is coming. On the other hand, taking profit is underway. Can we have another push down during the close? No idea.
The only advice to provide in case you want to jump in, make it quick and run.

NQ is behaving as expected. Price tested the low of the range, trapped late sellers and moved up to test the top of the range. So rinse and repeat!

With the break of the ST Range, Price should go up. We have the FED this afternoon. Based on the outcome of the FED Conference, we should have:
1- a quick zigzag (down and up): if the outcome is inline (i.e., expecting a rate cut in September; Inflation is down; no recession). With the test of the top of that broken ST Range, I will Buy. This is my expectation.
2- a Sell-off: if bullish outcome (i.e., no rate cut; inflation is still steady up). This scenario has a low expectation.
Advice: Do not jump until break and test of your entry level be it buy or sell. Be patient!

Hello, I appreciate your work a lot. I traded US500 but not really successful. I watched the Nasdaq several times and give it a try. I am still in the beginning of my learning in trading. I found you here with your strategy and just kept watching what you do. I like it very much and will use your explanations. And you are right we don't need much, not thousand of indicators etc. :-) Thanks a lot!

We had the monthly close yesterday. In my view, it's a bearish close. So I expect NQ to test the top of the month, then resume the downtrend. Keep in mind that the main direction is up. We have HH, it needs a HL to continue up and make a new HH.
From daily perspective, yesterday was a strong bullish candle. So we should expect a continuation up.
For our Intraday opportunity, Asian session was in a consolidation and London opened with a strong bearish candle, then a retrace inside that bearish candle; so quite a consolidation behavior.
For NY session, I see two scenarios:
