Done for the day.
This is a demo.
I have decided that tomorrow I will use RR 1:2 and not let it run as I have until now.

I observed, ADX on H4 is not very good, maybe the range is H1 and below

Agree.
I like scalping, so I use M15. Often the Asian slot is enough to reach my goal. Today I had 6 trades. 1.5% profit.
A bit inconvinient, because I live in Europe.

So it is 5:44 am here and I think I will have to get some sleep.

Hey, you are a goldmine friend. I will look at it in a moment.

I have news also.


I have played with the Currency meter from Jamie - see post 11. My take is not to trade the crosses, but the pairs with the 2 most trending and the 2 least trending currencies at the moment for the trading. I use M15. This way you a trading the most trending pairs at the moment. Be aware of the direction of the lines though.

I Have turned to use only the MIKA system for scalping. And that is really something, because I have loads of robots that fits my own system.

So here it is:
Have the 4 selected pairs on the screen. All the MIKA stuff from post #1 on the charts. And in adition i use:
25EMAhigh and 25EMAlow to serve as a kind of no touch land - like the shadows in the IchiMoku.
Then I use a Smoothed Heiken Ashi with settings 1.25.1.1. That colours the EMA's so that I get a clear visual of the trend.

Then scalp using MIKA signals. Take profit as you like. Enjoy the money.

OK Zorox. I have put on the 2 indicators you sent me. It seems that they pretty much aggree with the MIKA indicators. There are small differences here and there who can help in some situation, so I will keep them all on the charts in the near future to find the best way.

Really we don't need the arrows from the MIKA system, but I like the confirmation anyway.

this is an EA, but not some kind of auto trading, just to make the buy|sell|close buttons work

OK. Thank you. However I am trading using my own EA. Allways autotrading. I select manually the pairs that I believe will be the best trending pairs for the day. Then I let the robot do the trading. And the robot works together with other robots to secure the daily profit or maximum loss etc. My robot trades using the formulas for RSI, CCI and ADX exactly as those indicators has been set up on the screen. I must say that your robot is something of the nicest looking I have seen. You are very good at this! I will use it as the best graphical example for my programming.

Can you elaborate a little on the numbers?

  1. On the top right corner - how do you calculate the ranging numbers.
  2. And the percent numbers?
  3. On the trading part, what does the percent numbers show?

So I made a template with your robot anyway. Reviewing this friday, there we non of my selected pairs that were trending well and my robot took no trades. But I could have had some profit if I had traded a bit manually. And I am curious to try that beautifull beast :-)

It is so kind of you to let other people use it! It must be very stable. I change in my robots constantly and they are never in a shape that other people would be able to use them.

2 types of currency ratings, the first is based on the simple version of the daily open price, for example if the EURUSD daily perc is >0.01 then 1 point for EUR and -1 point for USD, the second is based on the average daily percent.

Have you seen the other thread that I am running for the moment. I call it "Finding the Trend". The idea is, that if you can predict the best pair to trade before the day begin, then you have an edge. So if you know that the daily bar will be a green bar before it even happens, then your scalping will have more winnings when trading only Long scalps.

One of the things we are discussing is the currency strength.

What about this - AUD have been stron for 15 minutes now and CHF was week for hours. But I find it ranging.
