The latest PCE report showed mixed results. The headline PCE price index met expectations, but the core rate saw a slightly higher increase of 0.2%, compared to the predicted 0.1%. Spending growth slowed down to 0.3%, aligning with forecasts. However, income only grew by 0.2%, which is much less than the anticipated 0.4%. Despite these numbers, the odds of a rate cut by the Fed in September remain at 100%.

EUR/USD climbed to its highs after the release but is now having trouble surpassing yesterday's 1.0870 peak. There's a risk of it dropping to the daily lows at 1.0842. Right now, the market lacks momentum, perhaps due to it being Friday and the end of the month approaching. We might have to wait for some action towards the end of next week.

EUR/USD experienced its second consecutive weekly decline after encountering resistance at 1.0902 on Monday and subsequently falling to 1.0825. The pair then spent the rest of the week consolidating around the 1.0850 level. At the moment, both 1.0902 and 1.0825 appear to be strong support and resistance levels, making it difficult to predict the pair's next move.

However, there is noticeable bearish pressure on the market. If this pressure persists, a break below 1.0902 could lead the price towards the next support levels at 1.0808 and 1.0795, or even 1.0765 if the breakdown is significant.

Conversely, if market sentiment improves, bulls might manage to push the pair above 1.0902, paving the way for a potential advance towards the 1.0948 level. Traders should closely monitor market sentiment and relevant economic indicators to assess potential EUR/USD movements.

Today is my Birthday & I am here Analyzing EURUSD! I am Mentally Not Okay I think I enjoy Trading a Bit Too Much

Friday well... was a TYPICAL Friday. A Bunch of movement up & down & we ended up truly nowhere. However They where doing their best to get people to chase. As soon as it went one direction it flipped back - so I am sure quite a bit of people where Frustrated Friday. This is why TYPICALLY Fridays are not the best in my opinion - especially nearing the end of the month. However quick scalpers could have had a great Friday lol

After analyzing EURUSD for a bit - this is what I have come up with for a short term analyses.

My Current Sentiment: BULLISH

Why ?: For Now Bears where not able to re-push under 1.084 on Friday & held 1.085 support. There is also an H1 upward curve showing buyer momentum. As long as 1.085 is support we can continue upward movement to 1.087. We are also still within the Bullish Trendline.

Support I am Using: 1.08525
Resistance I Am Using: 1.08700

If we break under 1.085 I believe we will retest 1.0842 & possibly retest 1.0825.
If we hold support we can revisit 1.087 & possibly 1.089

We do have a lot of data this week which can cause the pair to be volatile & have pretty big swings depending on the data & confidence in the pairs.

I am not sure we will see much movement Monday & we may consolidate in the current price range until Tuesdays eventful Data day & so forth.

IMAGE: As you can see we have 1.08540 support & below 1.08525 as a great support. We are still within the bullish trendline & have a bullish harmonic pattern forming on M30. What I will be watching for is 1.085 support & see if price stays within the trendline for further upward movement to retest 1.87 & see if bulls can continue to 1.089.

We can also be on the verge of a sell-off soon as well, if resistance can't be broken but I personally think we may retest 1.088-89+ before any deeper downward movement.

EUR/USD traded between 1.0851 - 1.0870 after the opening, these levels now protect any upside or downside at the next levels. 1.0882 - 96 and 1.0902 on the upside and 1.0842 - 25/30 on the downside
