I read it and very much appreciate it, it's a good quote, thank you. Discipline might be most hardest part as human nature tends greedy, but a good mindset I think will help us to keep discipline.

Hello traders!
I'm back from my trip and started my 25 000$ prop firm challenge today and will share the results. Caught 3 trades today and got 3 winners. 1 trade I should not have taken cause it did'nt really met my rules so cut it early though it ended up hitting full tp. Maybe it's me being a bit rusty from my trip and not being here 100% mentally cause ended up taking early profits on the other 2 trades also and thoso 2 also ended up hitting full tp so that bugs me ut a bit, but profit is profit. All trades today where on AUDUSD.

I have also added a new confluence to my trading that in backtesting and in todays live trading kept me out of bad trades. It is that the entry bar must break a trendline. I will have a lot fewer trades but it will keep me out of a lot of bad trades.

Another thing that really bugs me out is the spread on the prop firm account, they are really horrible compared to my own personal account and since I'm scalping it's not optimal. I just have to get used to it I guess and have the guts to hold my trades to full tp to max out the profits since the spreads are so bad. Below is my 3 trades with explanations.

Nice trading! If you can, start showing your FTMO progression with progression of an equity line, something like this.

Hi MachineLearn, first of all thank you for posting this strategy, I am loving the simple, mechanical nature of it! I am not a forex but a futures trader and began trading your strategy today on both micro DAX and micro NQ with just 1 contract to try and am so far up $85 having made 7 trades, 5 of which were winners.

Attached is the latest trade I made on MNQ and I just realized that on this trade I forgot the 75% rule with the trigger candle plus chickened out before the trade hit the 1:1 profit target about 7 minutes later Still practising it.

Very curious to see how the strategy works out.

He learned strategy. It's amazing....but it takes practice. Are these deals valid?...... ...Any tips?

Food for thought... I wanted to see how the trades would fare if ATR wasn't as strong and lo behold, 2 failed trades in a row. Only when ATR went back up above 15 for the last 30 minutes before NY close did we get a winning trade. I guess sticking with very high ATR environment / first 2 hours of trading would be of help but let's see how the next few days pan out. Still a respectable day of trading with 7 out of 11 winners on micro DAX and micro NQ combined for a profit of $95.

Interesting late morning on the micro DAX. Didn't trade the opening hours but then had 4 winners out of 5 trades in an ATR environment that was only about 50% from the opening hours. Interestingly the one failed trade didn't have a red volume bar before, I kind of hesitated to enter as the price was already very extended and indeed it failed. The last 2 winners were on even lower ATR and not in a trend which is encouraging for those of us who just want to take every signal regardless of trend or not.

So, second day of trading - attached my statistics from both micro DAX and MNQ, overall $201 profit.

And also the last, by far biggest trade of the day on MNQ for a 59 points winner, just a few minutes before market close.

I am not (yet) being carried away but this system seems legit so far, can't wait to trade it further, perhaps increasing to 2 contracts tomorrow.

Afternoon traders.

A bit rough day today on the markets, took a beat on gbpusd almost the first thing I did but you can't win them all. Atleast I was enable by recoup my loss with two winners ending the day with a small profit after all. Currently up 1% on my prop firm challenge, just 9% to go haha, but slow and steady wins the race. Still trying to adapt to the bigger spreads on the challenge account. At least today I held the trades to TP and did'nt exit early due to fear which is great.

Below are the trades I took together with my challenge account equity curve. In my ctrader screenshot you will see a gbpusd trade that was a small winner, just ignore that one it was a trade I accidentally took and closed it directly at breakeven.

Hello again!

A good day on market today! Caught 1 Gold trade and it was a winner. Had to do some unexpected errands today so did'nt get as much screentime as I wanted resulting in missing about 1-2 really good setups, but at least I got one and ending the week in the green. Also held my trade until TP and did'nt exit early which is good, a long way to go but starting to get there mentally. My prop firm challenge is currently just below 2% hoping to get to around 4-5% next week. I hope my small daily summaries may help someone out there to see how I trade and how I have implemented Machinelearns strategy and maybe in some way find it useful to their own trading. Below is my trade as usually.

Going on a trip this weekend so will be back on the charts tuesday. Have a great weekend everbody.

Hi Team,

I am still unsure on how the the strategy work,

Can someone please help me, I am not looking for large wins or profit all the time.

I am just wondering what are you guys mainly trading, and what time frames, also what is the profit ratio and the stop loss.

Again I am not expecting a large RR or high wins, just want to start learning the strategy.

Thanks in advance, and great to see that the team has a great consistent progression.

Rule:
- Price must be above the 20 EMA ( OK )
- Candle color change (OK)
- Closing within 75% of its range (OK)
- Volume of the setup bar must be higher than the previous bar (OK)
- ATR(14) > 4pip ( OK )
