Thanks. The first analysis was posted by me only .
I was not expecting gold to fall this much. My poi was 2440.
However I still believe we will see 2500 by this month end.

if you can read Elliott waves, you can read Dow trend stages.
so far it's an uptrend with HH-HL readings, and with the bullish divergence showing, next Dow reading should be HH by mid week +/-
if not, a weak wave up with no momentum, it should be double top at least.

so a 70 dollar drop in gold shook this thread. dont forget gold has rallied from 1650 dollars.. so it is still way too overbought just on war news. wars happen every now and then. so for gold to randomly rally 100 dollar when someone shoots a soldier by mistake was madness. gold can easily drop to 2300 if 2293 is broken

I don't think it's three drives, which is a pretty rare occurrence. It's usually tilting the other way.

Much like an ABCD, you confirm a three-drive pattern using Fibonacci ratios.

The drives at CD and EF should be 127.2% and 161.8% extensions of the BC and DE retracements
The BC and DE retracements should usually be 61.8% or 78.6% of the previous drive

Please research the definition of Three Drive Pattern and you will have the answer.

Apparently, there are specific levels to be reached to qualify.

The three drives pattern is a reversal pattern characterised by a series of higher highs or lower lows that complete at a 127% or 161.8% Fibonacci extension.
It can signal that the market is exhausted in its current move and a possible reversal is about to occur on the price chart. The bullish version of the pattern can help to identify possible buy opportunities and the bearish version can help to identify possible sell opportunities.
