Well, there is a big difference, though.
The person who believes something exists has the burden of proof.
The person who doesn't believe has no burden of proof, because we can not prove the non-existence of anything.
IOW, unitil there is evidence that "the thing" exists, there is no rational reason to believe that it exists.
And, yes, it doesn't mean that "the thing" doesn't exist, but also it doesn't mean that "the thing" exists.

However, if we assume that what You believe exists, actually can exist, then we should be able to show this using the scientific method:

Hi,
It's not just a question of psychology or emotion of the trader. since even the EA robots do not work. Are not real winners in the long term.
Indicators are useless. perhaps a few rare discretionary traders manage to win.
Unless the Brokers are crooks and manipulate this unregulated market....
i may be able to post the filtered version of oo7r.AI-test6nrp-limited soon, i m trying to improve the codes for how i exactly want to filter the signals, so that both directions can be tradable.

i see that usdjpy has clearly shown the yang (impulsive) wave down side now with 5 min timeframe.

Most robots do not work, because they are based on indicators, which do not work, because there are no strict mathematical rules.
I do believe that it is possible that in some distant future there will be real AI which will be able to profit in trading.
But not yet, and not for a long time.
If we are to believe the late Jim Simmons and his most successful Medallion Fund, there does exist at least one algorithm which can be successful.
However, it's not likely this algorithm can be even applied by the regular trading Joe.
And, even if such an algorithm exists, people will still be losing money, unless they have in them what Jim Simons had in him.

I mean, the mathematical formula behind that algorithm is known and available to everyone!
It's not like anybody discovered anything new which isn't already known!
Even though, people look at it, and they still can't see how it is good!
And they can't use it to be successful, because they will still do what they're not supposed to do.

BTW, I can't figure out how to automate this, either - I'm not good enough!

Banks don't have paper.
Banks create money like this:
People put their money in the bank (salaries, savings, etc.).
Banks need to hold a reserve of 10%.
So, by example, if you put $100, the bank keeps $10 and lends $90 as credit to someone else, or even the same person.
And they demand high interest rates on the loans.
And, they do this with all the money which comes in.
So, they actually create unexistent money without needing to print anything on paper.

I think we need to go 1 step above the banks and look at who owns them. The illuminati own the banks. The Rothchilds are rumoured to be worth $500 trillion. If they put a trillion in EU in a few brokers, at 50% long 50% short. When they wanted to move the markets long, they just transfer money out of short into long and the markets move exactly where they want them to go. It makes sense that they keep their money in money as there really is nowhere else for them to keep it. This market is not a 0 sum game, it is 100% manipulated. I believe the only way to make money in this market is to follow the big money. Watch for false fast moves at key areas and look to trade in opposite direction. My opinion.

yes, the self-discipline is the key, however, before self-discipline, we need to get positive (can-do) attitude and own a proven success method - we can never get success with self-discipline to some random methods.

I don't know what you read or understood, but what Douglas is actually saying is that a trader needs to trust themself, make split-second decisions, and do what they feel is the right thing to do. IOW, completely discretionary trading. And, I can tell you that this doesn't work. At least these days it doesn't work. Sure, you will win a few, but then the day will come, when every split-second, discretionary decision will result in the price going exactly the other way, often not giving us even a moment of profit, and the moment we close the losing position, and enter the opposite position, the same thing will happen, and in 2-3-4 trades we have lost all the previous profits, and more.
Plus, Douglas produced too much unnecessary text, repeating himself too many times, like he needed to produce more reading volume...

In conclusion, this is just another theoretical book, which does nothing in reality.
IOW, You get the knowledge, but You are still doing the same old shit!

About "positive attitude":
Positive attitude will not help you if you are standing in the middle of a highway and a car is coming at you at 200mph...
So, it's actually stupid to believe in all those ying/yang BS and positive thinking teachings!
Positive thinking will never make you successful in anything, if you don't have the talent, knowledge, or makeup to actually be successful.
Things don't become true because we believe they are true.
Things are either true, or not true.
If something is true, it is true independent of what we believe.
If something is not true, it is also not true independent of what we believe.

Well, look at it this way:
I can not tell anybody what they should or shouldn't do.
All I can do is shed some light on what reality looks like.
And because I say what I say, I also hope that people will not be using those indicators and EA's to risk their real money, but I can't prevent them from doing that, if they chose to do it. In my EA's I always add the disclaimer which you can read:

I can help people to not spend money on freelance coders.
Also, if a person can actually do it, be successful, they must be fully aware of what they are dealing with.
Would you prefer that I were telling people how I made millions trading MACD alone?
Or some other similar BS, and charge 2000 Euro for a seminar plus another 2000 Euro for an indicator which we have for free?

And, who knows, maybe, just maybe, someone will make a lot of money and share 10% with me?
I am interested in minimum 1 millon Euro, so the trader must make minimum 10 million Euro.
In all my, now about 13+ years of helping people, there has been exactly 0, NULL, zinch, none person who shared any wins with me.
Maximum they can do is say thank you, or assure me of their gratitude, or they suggest that some non-existent entity, like God, should reward me.
Which, obviously, never happens.

As for why I am not doing AI - I don't know how to, or maybe I don't believe any AI could help at this point.
About the wells, and gardens - well, I will have lots of questions, and I don't see myself doing such things.
Why is anybody unable do dig a well??? For example.

Actually, nothing was imposed on anybody, it's just what is provided by default.
There is absolutely no law or regulation which obliges anybody to trade what they see on time and OHLC price based charts.
There are people who trade by looking at DOM and Tape reading (price and volume), and they don't look at any charts.
Also there are a few types of Renko, and Range Bar charts, Kagi, Point and Figure, Volume Candles, Heiken Ashi, and whatever you can possibly create.
There are platforms which actually enable us to create any chart and trade it.
I, myself, have created a number of chart variations of my own ideas.
No, the problem doesn't lie in charts.
The problem always lies within the person who is trading or who is coding the EA.

I think I remember your idea, but also I think that someone already posted a similar idea Renko chart.
There is a variant of Renko which attempts to recognize sideways movements, we don't need to re-invent it.

Anyways, that doesn't change anything.
A Renko chart doesn't solve any problem, because there is no problem in any chart.
A chart is only a graphical representation of some changes, whatever way we want to represent those changes.
The chart has no problems, and the chart doesn't care about your problems.

Hi coders. CJA told me I wasn't giving enough or the right information on previous posts. I will try to here now.
I am looking for some changes to the Ronz EA posted here or a new EA, either is fine. The SL TP option to be replaced by hedge trades, or hedge trades added separately as follows. On a buy trade, a sell stop and sell limit would be placed automatically at preset #'s, and on a sell trade, a buy stop and buy limit would be placed automatically at preset #'s. An option to set to BE@#of pips gained on the hedge trade would be great but not required. When the initial trade is closed, any and all hedge trades associated with that trade need to be closed as well. I would like to keep the option for hidden SL TP/hedge trades if possible. I hope I am making sense, please ask about anything I am not explaining clearly and thank you for your time.
